Recap / Numberjacks S 1 E 42 Round And Round

Go To

One, Two, Three, and Four are in the Cosy Room. One and Two are playing with a flat disk, Three is singing and playing with her toy cube, and Four is reading. Four and Three note that it's quiet, but then One and Two start making silly noises. Three likes the change in volume, but Four doesn't. Three joins in on the noise-making and they all laugh, except for Four. Eventually, Three convinces him to join in and they have fun goofing around together until the alarm goes off.

Three and Four go to the control room, where Agent 41 explains that a girl is teleporting all over her living room. Five volunteers to be launched but the man is on the couch so Three rings the doorbell. Five lands on a pole and then Agent 60 shows the Numberjacks that a woman's hat keeps changing.

Five wonders if the woman and the girl are having similar problems, and the agents say that there is one thing they have in common: it's three things in succession. Then, a man also gets stuck in a repeating pattern of three: he jumps, hops, and raises both hands.

Five then spots green slime, meaning that the Problem Blob is causing it. Sure enough, he's there sitting on a fallen tree. Four wonders if the Problem Blob had some ulterior motive for sliming these three individuals, and it turns out he did: all three of them have patterns of three on one of their possessions. The girl has a pattern of red, yellow, and blue dots on her shirt, the woman has a pattern of stars, shells, and hearts on her earrings, and the man has a pattern of cars, planes, and trains on his bag.

Five imagines a patterned digger being made to dig, chuck, and flip, a dancer with a pattern on her leotard being made to trip, splat, and bounce, and an aeroplane being made to dive, loop, and climb.

The Problem Blob then changes the patterns to four things by adding a boat to the man's bag, making him spin in addition to his other movements, and a crown to the woman's earrings, making her lie on the chair, counter, floor, and some guy's shoulder.

Five then gets blobbed five times, making her grow short, tall, thin, fat, and empty. The agents suggest breaking the pattern, so Three makes brain gain to free Five and set everything back to normal. The Blob explodes, Five returns, and they do the recap.

Back in the Cosy Room, Five joins in with the silly noise game. Six asks the viewers to look and listen for repeated patterns.
