Charlie and Amita are getting married at last but before that can happen, Don's gun is stolen and is used in a series of crimes. Lou Diamond Phillips appears.

Tropes for this episode:

  • Asshole Victim: Don's gun is passed around between people who feel they have problems the police aren't handling. The three victims killed are two violent drug dealers and a chronic drunk driver; there are also near-misses on an abusive ex-boyfriend and a bully neighbor.
  • Grand Finale
  • Justice by Other Legal Means: Mentioned briefly when the agents are questioning potential suspects that might be interested in Don's gun; one of the men they question, who had made threats against a defendant who was acquitted of a crime against the man's family, indicates he's not interested in the gun as he's instead decided to pursue civil legal action against the individual he has a problem with.
  • Sympathetic Murderer: Two potential cases, though ultimately neither comes to fruition; a battered woman intends to kill her abuser (but realizes she can't actually bring herself to do it), and a teenager pulls the gun on a neighbor who's been menacing his family (Don talks him down before he can go through with it).note
  • Vigilante Militia: The Greater-Scope Villain (although a Well-Intentioned Extremist one) of the episode is a social media group in which people who have been wronged and the law has not helped them meet up, and after they get their hands on Don's missing Glock they pass them from one user to the next to do by themselves what the law could not do.
