", showing us what Bryce and Donovan are up to after Bobby gets kidnapped. - The Dog Bites Back: Even without the threat of torture and death, the Mingworthys are more than willing to help Bryce and Donovan rescue Bobby after being forced to be the Queen's slaves for four years.
- Eviler than Thou: The Queen actually manages to intimidate Bryce Tankthrust after taking her money and refusing to keep her end of the bargain. When Bryce confronts her on this, Elizabeth shouts at her and Bryce backs away in fear.
- Honey Trap: Donovan manages to get the Mingworthy's address by seducing and performing rather violent (but still highly effective) cunnilingus on the waitress.
- Karma Houdini Warranty: Having spent her entire life lording her wealth over the less fortunate, stiffing her own employees, killing people, kidnapping, illegal cloning, slavery and being a Trumplica (with all that this implies), Bryce is now flat-broke, forced to pay the bills with a thankless, minimum wage job serving customers who hate her guts for all the things she did as the President. Meanwhile, Bobby's kidnapping has caused her hearts to wear out faster than normal and without the fresh, easy supply of organs she's used to, she is forced to murder strangers for hearts to keep herself alive.
- Kick the Dog: Queen Elizabeth stops giving Bryce orphan hearts and refuses to refund her for the month just cause.
- Love Hurts: The replacement hearts Bryce uses wear out much faster than usual with Bobby being held hostage. All so that Elizabeth can slowly kill her with "heartache and worry."
- Pet the Dog: Bryce has Donovan remove the bombs implanted in the Mingworthys before interrogating them.
- Strange Minds Think Alike: When Queen Elizabeth asks her servants to show her gay porn, they instead show her an odd, two-person performance that can't be considered pornographic in any way. During their conversation, Bryce refers to the performance as "gay pornography."
- Training Montage: Bryce and Donovan's time in Clamville shows them surviving on their minimum wage jobs, training for their inevitable confrontation with the Queen and killing people for their hearts as they look for Bobby, slowly improving. This is all done to the tune of "Half To Death" by Onicks.
