When Nadakhan acquires infinite wishes, Jay only has one.

Airdate: July 15, 2016

This episode provides examples of:

  • The Big Damn Kiss: Between Jay and Nya.
  • Call-Back: As Nya is dying, she ends up telling Jay that she never wanted to be a part of his "boy's club". While indirect, this links back to the moment where Dareth told the Ninja that "they're a boy band", in his reasons to exclude Nya from a reading commercial that the Ninja were starring in. It also references the twelfth episode of season 2, "Return of the Overlord", in which Kai states "this club just became boys only!" after trapping a corrupted Nya in ice.
  • Cosmic Retcon: Due to Jay wishing that no one ever found the Teapot of Tyrahn in the first place, time reverses back to Infamous, where, of course, it is not found.
  • Demonic Possession: When Nadakhan acquires infinite wishes after his marriage to Nya, he ends up wishing that his previous lover, Delara, was in Nya's body. Delara's soul is in Nya's body for most of the second half of the episode. After the Ninja hit Nadakhan with the Tiger Widow Venom dart, Delara's soul leaves Nya's body.
  • Earn Your Happy Ending: After being put through the wringer multiple times throughout the whole season, Jay ends up making the right wish, and not only does he save all of Ninjago, he finally gets to be with Nya.
  • Heel–Face Turn: Dogshank and Flintlocke side with the Ninja after Nadakhan banishes members of his crew away with his infinite wishes.
  • Manly Tears: Jay, after Nya's death.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: Flintlocke, after realising that he has hit Nya with the Tiger Widow venom dart as well as Nadakhan.
  • Oh, Crap!: Nadakhan has a reserved one when Jay wishes his teapot had never been found, which he is still forced to grant.
  • Pre-Mortem One-Liner: Flintlocke one just as he is about to shoot the Tiger Widow Venom dart at Nadakhan.
Flintlocke: My shot is yours to keep. (fires dart)
  • Relationship Upgrade: Jay's last wish causes Nya and himself to reconcile and have The Big Damn Kiss. The fact that they both have a Ripple-Effect-Proof Memory of their Character Development throughout the season can also contribute to this.
  • Ripple-Effect-Proof Memory: Only Jay and Nya remember the entirety of Season 6 after Jay's last wish creates a Cosmic Retcon, though Lloyd does mention getting déjà vu.
  • Sadistic Choice: After the Ninja slow down Nadakhan with the Tiger Widow Venom dart, as well as accidentally hit Nya with it in the process, Nadakhan presents Jay with a choice on what his last wish would be.
Nadakhan: Only one wish, Jay. What will it be? Wish me mortal, and she dies. Wish her well, and there is no stopping me!
  • Take a Third Option: After Nya dies, in his grief, Jay wishes that Nya had taken her hand ten episodes ago, and on that same day, no one would have released Nadakhan from the Teapot of Tyrahn.
  • Wham Episode: Jay uses his last wish to erase the entirety of Season 6, taking the Ninja back to the rooftop scene ten episodes ago, when Nya refused to take Jay's hand to hide from the media. This time around, she uses Airjitzu for the first time to do so, in the process, resolving Jay's and Nya's Unresolved Sexual Tension that began from Season 3. It also stops Clouse from finding the Teapot of Tyrahn, thus never releasing Nadakhan at all. This is the first episode ever to rewrite a whole season, while Wrong Place, Wrong Time only ended up removing the Mega Weapon from the timeline itself.
  • Wham Line: Jay's last wish.
"I wish... you had taken my hand, and no one ever found that teapot in the first place."
  • Wham Shot: After the Ninja manage to hit Nadakhan with a Tiger Widow Venom dart, which slows down a djinn and kills a normal human, Jay tries to wish that Nadakhan was not a djinn, as he is too weakened to twist Jay's words. But to his horror, Jay sees that Nya has a green stain on her chest, indicating that she was hit with the venom too.
