- The Bus Came Back: Pythor makes his return in this episode after his last appearance in the Day of the Departed special.
- Chopper on Standby: The Crystal Spiders carry Pythor to one of these, which carries him out of prison and to the Crystal King.
- In Prison with the Rogues: Including Ultra Violet, Captain Soto, and Pythor, the latter of whom had been Put on a Bus since the Day of the Departed special before showing up here.
- Protector Behind Bars: The Ninja continue to try to protect Ninjago from the Crystal King's machinations while imprisoned.
