- Refugee from TV Land: Characters such as Okino and Racer Seven are also freed from Prime Empire with Unagami's escape, and choose to remain when the trapped humans are released.
- Rooftop Confrontation: The climactic conversation between Unagami and Dyer takes place - where else? - on the top of Borg Tower.
- Younger Than They Look: Played with. Unagami has existed for over thirty years, but his true form and mental age is that of a child.
