The ninja break into the Explorer's Club to obtain the second Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu, running afoul of the club's manager and irate club members.
- Camera Abuse: The episode ends with the Mummy Hand leaping out of the Explorer's Club and at the camera.
- Lawful Stupid: The Explorer's Club is this in a nutshell. The Ninja need to get the Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu that they have... Yet they aren't able to get it by normal means due to the club only allowing members to get any artifacts, despite the situation being incredibly dire.
- Magic Mirror: While looking through the Explorer's Club's artifacts, Lloyd, Nya, and Zane find a mirror that shows them their greatest fears: Lloyd's being becoming his father, Nya being afraid of being normal and never becoming the Master of Water, and Zane fearing losing his humanity.
- Poor Communication Kills: Zane attempts to infiltrate the Explorer's Club disguised as Clutch Powers. But it failed as he didn't know Clutch's membership had been revoked.
