The team splits up to search for the Dragon Cores. Arin and Lloyd encounter a group of seaweed farmers who have been displaced from their home by a gang of Merlopians and a very large crab.
Tropes:
- The Dog Was the Mastermind: The Merlopians aren't controlling the crab with that crown; the crab is controlling them.
- Gone Horribly Right: While Lloyd and Arin's training session results in Arin figuring out how to use his Spinjitzu tranferring powers, Lloyd wasn't exactly ready for a full-speed plate to slam into him, leading to him dodging the plate which in turn causes it to hit the Destiny's Bounty's engines, blowing them up.
- Significant Name Overlap: Played for Laughs when Nya talks to Sora. No, not that Sora; the other one.
- Tempting Fate: As Lloyd and Arin take off to continue their quest, the two hope that the others are doing well. Cue Gilligan Cut to Kai and Wyldfire in a trap of closing walls handled by angered Bone Guards.
