Division protects Mirko Dadich, a Serbian war criminal, in exchange for uranium in his possession. Alex is send there to keep him entertained, while Nikita tries to take out Dadich and stop Division from getting the uranium.
However, a group of mercenaries around the daughter of Dadich's nuclear programm's boss kidnaps Dadich, leading Nikita and Division, under Michael, to hunt them. During a fire fight between all involved parties, Nikita manages to get the GPS devise that leads to the uranium and destroy it.
Percy, Division's boss, orders clean up, meaning that Michael kills Dadich and the whole thing is blamed on him.
In flashbacks, Nikita is shown finding Alex and helping her through detox.
Tropes
- Anti-Villain: Michael cements his place as this in this episode. He clearly hates protecting Dadich, and he saves Alex, but at the end he's still loyal to Division.
- Friendly Enemy: When Nikita has to make a choice between killing Dadich and saving Michael, she saves Michael.
- The Junkie: What Alex was when Nikita found her. Also, it's implied that Nikita was one too, at some point.
- You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: What happens to Dadich at the end. Michael shoots him in the head. In Michaels defense, Dadich is clearly a horrible person and he did try to rape Alex, but they did just spend the whole episode protecting him.
