As the funeral for Tiffany Hudson nears, her confused spirit seemingly haunts Horseshoe Bay. Nancy invites Bess to stay with her, allowing Nancy to figure out what she is hiding. Nick struggles with what he learned about Tiffany. Meanwhile, George reluctantly seeks help from an unusual source as Ace runs into a significant person from his past. Lastly, Carson continues to advise Ryan, much to Nancy's chagrin.

- Be Careful What You Wish For: When Nancy visits her mom's grave tearfully asking if the town's full of spirits then why hasn't she made presence known to her since Nancy really needs an mom right now. Her mother does listen, but it's not the one she expected. As the first season draws to an close it's revealed that Lucy Sable is actually Nancy's birth mother and she starts haunting her excessively after this episode
- Calling the Old Man Out: Nancy confronts Carson on not letting her in on her mother's last moments while she was at a school dance which both of them insisted she go to instead.
- Failed a Spot Check: George was so distracted by the strong emotions surrounding Tiffany's death that she forgot to put the mirror on her chest and ends up getting possessed by her at the end of the episode.
