- He runs out on Fluttershy mid-sentence when Fluttershy mentions that Rarity is having some trouble.
- Not a Morning Person: Spike struggles to get up when a guard wakes him two hours before the sunrise (as Spike himself requested).
- You Are Better Than You Think You Are: When Twilight worries that being the Princess of Friendship won't be enough for future ponies to remember her and about what and how her reign will be noted by history, Spike assures her that it is exactly how she will be remembered.
