While Applejack and Rainbow Dash are relaxing on the beach, a distraught Rarity interrupts them to ask for help in finding her missing earring. The three begin searching the shore with metal detectors and turn up interesting junk all day long, but the earring is still nowhere to be found. As Rarity puts on the headphones for her detector to do one last sweep, something falls away from the side of her head - the wayward earring, which had come off and gotten caught in her hair.
