Training and the U.A. Entrance Exam (Chapters 1-11)

Chapter 1

After Bakugou throws Izuku's Hero Notebook to the koi pond over him wanting to go to U.A., Izuku punches a wall in frustration over no one controlling Bakugou's behavior, hurting his hand. When he returns home, his mother Inko cleans and bandages the injuries, and Izuku asks if it is OK for him to want to go to U.A. Inko tells him that he should follow his dream as far as he wants.

The next day, when he wakes up, he sees what appears to be a notification screen in front of him, which he attributes to some sort of hallucination. However, when he brushes his teeth, he gets a notification about unlocking an Oral Hygiene skill. The rest of the morning, he keeps getting these notifications, usually related to his actions, and slowly realizes he may have a Quirk, particularly after realizing that the injuries from the previous day have completely vanished.

That afternoon, rather than lingering around town to see if he can find any Heroes in action, he runs home to experiment with it. However, his joy at getting his Quirk is dashed when his mother arrives, telling him that Bakugou has been involved in a Villain attack...

Chapter 2

Bakugou dies suffocated when attacked by a sludge-like villain, who is later killed when Endeavor arrives and burns it alive, leaving nothing but ashes of Villain without further damaging Bakugou's corpse.

Three days later, Bakugou's funeral is held. Even though their school has given his grade the day off to attend the funeral, the only children to attend are Izuku and a blue-haired girl from the other class. Several other heroes also attend, as well as Endeavor's daughter (with an aside mentioning that Endeavor didn't even bother to learn about Bakugou).

After the funeral, Izuku mentions to Bakugou's parents that he and Katsuki had the same dream, to become pro-Heroes, and Izuku promises to work hard enough to become the future #1 Hero to honor Katsuki. Mitsuki encourages this dream, saying that her son probably would like to see Izuku becoming a Hero.

Izuku jumps into learning about his Quirk as best as he can, noting that it works a lot like a video game, with Status, Skills, Talents, and the ability to form a Party. When Izuku wonders aloud about training for the U.A. entrance exam, he gets his first Quest: telling Inko about his power, "The Gamer" so he can get an advance in his allowance for training material. He also gets a Mandatory Quest, warning him that, if he doesn't gain entrance into U.A.'s Hero Course, he will lose "The Gamer".

Chapter 3

The next morning, Izuku wakes up to learn his father Hisashi (who had come to attend Bakugou's funeral) has already left for the United States, where he works. When prompted, Inko confesses that Hisashi and her are legally separated due to several factors, such as her body changes and a fight they had over possibly sending Izuku to a boarding school for Quirkless children (an aside mentions that, years after that conversation, that school was shut down and its teachers and administrators arrested).

After consoling his mother, Izuku brings up the issue of "The Gamer", and shows her by inviting her to his party, allowing her to learn about what her son can do now. Convinced, Inko gives him the advance and allows him to train while deciding to change for her own sake and her son.

After his buying spree for skill books and training materials (during which Izuku sees the blue-haired girl again), Izuku manages to gain and improve on his skills, and then gains his reward from his first Quest: Inventory II and Reflective Dungeon.

Chapter 4

Checking his new talents, Izuku finds that he can instantly equip items from his now bigger inventory and that he can create dungeons based on objects or items. That weekend, he goes out to train at a nearby park, managing to level up his Analyze skill as he trains his other abilities. While pausing for lunch, he meets a frog-like green-haired girl who is also training for the U.A. entrance exams.

During the afternoon, Izuku manages to reach Level 3, but his celebration is cut short when the girl from before falls from a tree because of a broken branch: Izuku manages to catch her in time thanks to his telekinesis. The girl presents herself as Asui Tsuyu and thanks him for saving her. Tsuyu suggests training together, since this way they can learn from each other and have a better chance to enter U.A. Izuku agrees.

Chapter 5

Arriving home, Izuku explains to Inko what happened at the park, and she patches him up, with her showing interest in her son's new partner. Inko gives Izuku a first aid kit for the future. Izuku and Tsuyu keep meeting for training and exchange information about each other and their Quirks.

One day, Tsuyu doesn't appear as usual. This worries Izuku until he meets her the next day: Tsuyu explains that her sister was sick and, since her parents are out of the country most of the time, she is her siblings' primary caretaker. Izuku brings her to Inko and suggests that his mother babysit Tsuyu's siblings on Sundays, while the two of them train. While both of them are initially reluctant, they hit it off and Inko accepts to help her son's friend.

With the arrival of summer, Tsuyu brings Izuku to the park lake, so they can swim, much to his embarrassment since he wasn't expecting it. When he tells his mother about this, she seems quite keen on the idea.

Chapter 6

Izuku gets a new Quest: Challenge Tsuyu to a race and win. After accepting, Izuku goes to school, where the results of their midterm tests are published: thanks to his new drive to excel, Izuku is the first in his class and second in his grade, only behind someone called Mizuno Ami. He gets into a scuffle with one of Bakugou's old minions, and Izuku calls him and everyone else out for not going to Bakugou's funeral.

Izuku lays down his race challenge to Tsuyu, and she accepts. For the next two weeks, the two make a run across the park until the lake, with Tsuyu winning all of them due to her greater quickness and agility, but Izuku slowly gains on her as his skills grow. During one race, Tsuyu trips and Izuku stops to help her, telling her that, if he wins, he wants his victory to be fair and square. Finally, in the last race, Izuku manages to win thanks to unlocking a special running mode mid-run. With the reward, he picks the "Ki Initiate" talent.

Chapter 7

During training, Tsuyu asks Izuku about his approaching birthday and suggests the two of them have dinner with just his mother. Izuku and Inko accept.

Their next training session, though, is abruptly interrupted by an unexpected thunderstorm. The two struggle to take cover from the falling rain, when lightning strikes a nearby tree, leaving Izuku temporarily blinded and severely injuring Tsuyu, leaving her almost dead. Unable to contact anyone due to a spotty connection, Izuku invites an unconscious Tsuyu into his party, heals her with his first-aid kit, and then modifying her stats and giving her a talent to bring her out of her dying state. Exhausted, Izuku barely has the time to lay next to her and put a towel around them before falling asleep.

When they both wake up, Tsuyu points out to a floating window she's seeing, so Izuku confesses about his power. While he is apologetic about using her points in such a way, Tsuyu waves it off by pointing out he just saved her life. After Izuku suggests they return home, Tsuyu instead begins to take off her clothes and kisses Izuku, clearly wanting to have sex with him, but Izuku forestalls her by telling her that, while he likes her, he doesn't want to have sex at that moment, not when they have just come out of nearly dying and when they need to concentrate on passing their exams. Tsuyu is slightly reluctant but accepts his suggestion.

Returning home, Inko asks what happened to them, and Izuku tells her everything save for the part where Tsuyu tried to seduce him. Much to his relief, Inko remains supportive of their training, telling him she is proud of him and Tsuyu. Izuku notices that she is getting taller and stronger, and after checking his status notes that he has leveled up.

Chapter 8

On Izuku's birthday, Izuku and Tsuyu study her Quirk and status as they return from training, with Tsuyu considering whether to improve her Quirk or her physical resistance. After dinner, Izuku gets presents from both his mother and Tsuyu: several skill books, a videogame, and a mechanical pencil. Izuku thanks them both, and suggests something: going into a Reflective Dungeon. Inko and Tsuyu agree, and after getting ready Izuku creates a Reflective Dungeon out of the pencil, bringing his Party into a "dungeon" with pencil-like trees and weak enemies. When they destroy the first enemy they find, they are surprised to find it drop real money. After several hours going, they find the dungeon boss: when they try to escape the dungeon, though, they are unable to, forcing them to fight. A grueling fight later, the boss dies, and the three leave the dungeon. When Tsuyu asks what to do with the money, Inko decides to take it to the police so they can check if it counts as legal tender: surprisingly, it does, and the three divide up the money they have earned.

Izuku goes on a shopping run and accidentally meets the blue-haired girl, who presents herself as Mizuno Ami, the number one student. When asked about her Quirk, she says she can control water and ice. Ami mentions wanting to become a doctor like her mother, but Izuku says she could be a great hero. Izuku then mentions his plans to go to U.A., and when Ami points out that he is Quirkless, Izuku replies that not all Heroes have combat-related powers and that the fact that people think he is Quirkless is not so true anymore.

Chapter 9

Tsuyu reaches a new threshold, and she asks Izuku's opinion on which bonus talent she should pick. After making a choice, she asks about Izuku's unspent Talent points, and he says that he's keeping them just in case he finds something he needs in an emergency. Tsuyu suggests he buy Tactile Telekinesis, so he can use that as his listed Quirk since most of his abilities could be covered by it.

During the next months, Izuku and Tsuyu keep training, taking advantage of the Reflective Dungeons to train without the threat of weather problems, and they have fun during Christmas. After New Year, Inko asks Izuku if he would support her divorcing his father, because between their dungeon diving and her plans to become a professional designer they could support themselves without Hisashi's aid. Izuku offers his full support.

Inko ends up making Izuku's and Tsuyu's first Hero costumes, which they decide to test by making a run into the Kung Fu skill book Izuku got on his birthday. Within, they find a dojo where Izuku and Tsuyu have to fight several martial artists while having restrictions on the skills they can use. Slowly making their way through the dojo students and masters, until they reach the master. Fighting him, he surrenders before his health drops to zero and asks their help in stopping a different threat: a paper dragon. In spite of its power, Izuku easily defeats it by drenching it in water, and after finishing the dungeon he uses the skill book, while Tsuyu and Inko use special scrolls that allow them to learn kung fu.

Three months later, the two are ready to take the U.A. entrance exam.

Chapter 10

While looking at his fellow U.A. candidates, Izuku trips, only to be helped by a girl that uses her Quirk to stop his fall. Izuku thanks her, and the two go to their exams. Izuku does well in the written test, and at the talk over the practical (where Izuku sees someone that might be Ami) Present Mic lays down the rules: the candidates cannot attack each other, must defeat as many villain robots as possible during the time limit and attacking the obstacle robot will drop your points to half unless the only way to escape is to fight back.

After the talk, Tsuyu goes to her test site, while Izuku gets a new Quest: try to get the top score in the practical. If he doesn't, then Tsuyu and he will be in different classes. While preparing, Izuku is approached by a tall boy who interrupted the talk and who apologizes for calling Izuku out, with Izuku telling him not to worry, after which he touches his stats for a few last-minute improvements. The test begins, and Izuku rushes in to claim his first two points. In the teachers' box, they observe as the students fight their way across their testing grounds, marveling at a few of them and their ability.

Izuku helps a girl who was about to be attacked by a robot in her back, only for her to angrily ask with signs why he destroyed the robot since she was going to attack it. Izuku apologizes and brings her two robots so she can take the points for them. Izuku keeps helping others, unknowingly inspiring them to work together and protect each other from the robots. With three minutes left, Nezu unleashes the Executors, obstacle robots that tower buildings. Izuku is shocked when he sees it, but before he can begin to leave, he sees the girl that helped him earlier trapped under rubble in the robot's path.

Seeing no other way if he wants to save the girl, Izuku puts everything he has into running towards the robot, destroying it with one Minnesota Smash at the cost of a broken arm and several broken and cracked bones. The girl saves him again by using her Quirk before he hits the ground, and the test ends. Izuku faints after Recovery Girl uses her Quirk to heal him.

Izuku wakes up several hours later, now in better health, and Recovery Girl, after checking him, asks him why he attacked the robot. Izuku explains that other options (such as pulling her out from under the rock) were not feasible, and he expected to just tip the robot over. Now recovered, he leaves, depressed at thinking he may have failed.

Chapter 11

Arriving at home, Izuku tells his mother what happened during the exam, and tells her about his Quest to enter U.A. and the potential loss of "The Gamer" should he not make it. Tsuyu, wanting to cheer him up, decides to ask him to go out with her the next day.

After having lunch, the two go to an arcade, where they find a group of Izuku's school bullies. The bullies try to pick a fight with Izuku, who threatens to fight back hard until the bullies run away from a girl with electrokinetic powers. The girl presents herself as Misaka Mikoto, and the three speak about the test: it turns out that Mikoto turned down a recommendation because she wanted to prove herself as worthy of being in U.A. and because of her school's rather sketchy fame when it comes down to their U.A. recommendation students.

Izuku has a nightmare about what may happen if he has failed the tests, and the day the results come he decides to open them with his mother and Tsuyu. Instead of a letter, the results come in a hologram projector showing All Might, U.A.'s newest teacher. All Might says that Izuku's attack on the obstacle robot should have put him below the cutoff, but then shows him videos of other candidates asking to give him part of their points so he can attend U.A., how his actions inspired the others to work together, how he has earned the hidden Hero Points - and finally that he is not going to be penalized for attacking the robot because the teachers agree it was the only way to save the girl. In the end, Izuku earns the highest score of the year and the second-highest of all time at 142 points (77 Villain points and 65 Hero points). Izuku and Tsuyu (who also passed as seventh) celebrate, and Izuku claims the rewards of his efforts.

    First U.A. days (Chapters 12-14)

Chapter 12

Two weeks after getting their test marks, Inko tells Izuku that she's been hired for several design works, including four custom designs, and also shows him the papers to make the divorce official. Izuku congratulates her for the former and tells her that, as long as she is happy, he will be happy too.

On his first day at U.A., Izuku finds the blue-haired "pipe guy" berating a red-haired boy while another girl laughs. The first recognizes Izuku as he enters and presents himself as Iida Tenya, and Izuku makes the connection to Ingenium, who turns out to be Tenya's brother. The other two present themselves as Kirishima Eijiro (the red-haired boy) Kyoka Jiro (the girl), both of whom show admiration over Izuku's destruction of the obstacle robot.

Izuku then notices something in the teacher's podium. Analyzing it, he sees it's a sleeping bag that contains a man called Shota Aizawa, but surprisingly Izuku can't get anything beyond basic information about the person. Tsuyu arrives then, followed shortly after by an angry Mikoto, who was worried about him not getting in only for Izuku to snatch first place. Slowly, others arrive, with Ami, the girl Izuku helped with the villain robots, and the girl Izuku saved joining them. Aizawa gets out of his bag and presents himself as Class 1-A's teacher, prompting the students to give their names and Quirks, which Izuku notes down.

Once presentations are done, Aizawa has them come out for an impromptu physical test, telling them that whoever is last will be expelled. However, Aizawa's attitude draws suspicions from Izuku, who convinces Tsuyu and a few of the others (Cassandra Cain, Shoji Mezo, and Mikoto) to capture Aizawa. When Aizawa demands an explanation, the group points out that his actions and words were befitting of a villain, making Aizawa laugh because they are the first group that has caught onto his special test. This causes Todoroki to decide to request a change of class, having lost any trust he may have had in Aizawa, and he prompts the others to do the same. In the end, it takes All Might to convince the students that Aizawa can be trusted. After the class, the teachers talk, and Aizawa mentions that Izuku wasn't affected by his Eraser Quirk, something that none of the teachers expected.

The following day, for their first Hero Fundamentals class, All Might mentions that they cannot do the expected Urban Battle training, so instead they are going to play a game of tag. Izuku soon begins to make his mark by using loopholes in the rules to win points. When the class ends, Izuku uses Analyze on All Might - and gets a double shock.

The first being that All Might is suffering from systemic organ damage and lethal exotic matter toxicity.

The second being that he now has another Mandatory Quest: he has three months to prevent All Might's death because if he doesn't the age of peace and stability the Symbol of Peace brought will end.

Chapter 13

Izuku decides to tell All Might what he has found out. When he shows the man his true power, All Might is reluctant because he thinks Izuku may have gained the information from someone, but Izuku convinces him that he is being honest. Cassandra comes in to interrupt and reveals that she too noticed All Might's worsening health thanks to her Quirk. Izuku tells All Might that, if nothing is done, he will die at the beginning of summer. All Might reveals part of how he got his injury and tells Izuku he will consider his offer. While Izuku leaves and finds Ochako, who suggests he make a study group, Cassandra assures All Might about Izuku's honesty.

The teachers investigate Izuku: they are seeking connections between him and All for One, the villain that caused Toshinori's injury, as well as his Quirk. Recovery Girl mentions that his Quirk may not have been detected before because the test they did on him wasn't completely effective. When Bakugou is mentioned, Nezu suggests that another possibility may have been that Izuku just held back on using his Quirk to avoid antagonizing his friend-slash-bully. Aizawa asks how Izuku could be immune to his Quirk, and Present Mic points out that there are multiple reasons why that are not tied to All For One. After the meeting, though, All Might tells Nezu that Izuku is an Irregular, and Nezu encourages him to accept Izuku's offer since it would help both Izuku and him.

That evening, All Might calls Izuku: he wants to meet him and his mother the next afternoon so they can discuss his offer.

Chapter 14

Cassandra, Inko, Izuku, and Tsuyu meet with All Might in the latter's office. After mentioning to Inko about his injury, he shows the group his true, emaciated form. This is because he wants to do his own Dungeon, and needs to make sure no one is surprised while he is there. Tsuyu and Inko put skill points to understand Cassandra's sign language, and a brief test of the Inventory's capabilities embarrasses Izuku and the girls.

Entering All Might's Reflective Dungeon, they find themselves in the Los Angeles university campus All Might went to while he was in the United States. Their discussion about All Might's past is cut short when Blue Bulette and Rocket Wrist, the first villains All Might ever fought, attack them. All Might fights Blue Bulette, and between Inko turning Rocket Wrist's rockets so they hit him and fighting by the future heroes, the copies of the two villains are defeated. Izuku notes that their experience does not grow as much as expected because of a hard experience cap, preventing them from leveling too fast. After a few fights, the group agrees to leave and continue at another point.

Before the group leaves, All Might tells them about the Irregulars, people with powers that do not come from Quirks, that appear every few years and are quite jealous of their independence, having disappeared the last villain who tried to take advantage of them. All Might starts coughing blood, and Izuku buys several talents in an attempt to help heal All Might before the Hero tells him they still have time before it all becomes a problem.

Seeking an answer to his problem, All Might calls his friend David Shield and explains about the exotic matter within his body. David asks All Might for some time, since the detection and extraction of such matter is a very difficult thing, but promises to put everything into finding a solution.

The Hero Fundamentals class continues with tag, with Izuku twisting the rules even further with his questions, forcing All Might to close the loopholes. During the game, the study group girls note how Izuku, Tsuyu, and Cassandra have clearly improved their skills in the past two days.

Chapter 15

The study group meets, and the girls interrogate Izuku about his improvement, but Izuku manages to deflect their questions and the group studies.

The next Monday, All Might shows them what is in the plan: they are going to work with Class 1-B in a joint class on urban fighting, with a member of each class pairing up, and then each duo fighting in a Heroes vs Villains combat.

Joint Training: Heroes vs. Villains (Chapters 15-17)

Match #1

Hero Team O: Izuku Midoriya (MVP) & Kosei Tsuburaba
defeats
Villain Team M: Tsuyu Asui & Kojiro Bondo

While Kojiro barricades himself in a room, Tsuyu sets up a trap on a lower floor. Izuku sees through the trap and sends Kosei to go up the elevator shaft with his Quirk while he purposefully trips the trap. Izuku and Tsuyu fight quite evenly, with Izuku acquiring resistance to Tsuyu's paralyzing oil. Eventually, Izuku manages to maneuver her so he can tie the capture tape around one of her wrists and to a steel beam she won't be able to break, keeping her in place. Kosei finds Kojiro, and Izuku comes up with a plan where he goes in first to distract Kojiro while Kosei runs around to touch the bomb. The plan is successful, and the Heroes win.

Match #2

Hero Team P: Mina Ashido & Jurota Shishida
loses to
Villain Team G: Eijiro Kirishima (MVP) & Reiko Yanagi

While Reiko hides in the elevator shaft with the bomb, Eijiro distracts Mina and Jurota by making them believe Reiko is elsewhere. Using his Hardening Quirk to resist Jurota's punishing attacks, Eijiro wheedles him towards the shaft and infuriates him enough that he doesn't pay enough attention when Reiko floats the bomb in front of him so he breaks it with one punch, finishing the match.

Match #3

Hero Team J: Fumikage Tokoyami & Sen Kaibara
loses to
Villain Team I: Hanta Sero (MVP) & Pony Tsunotori

Before Fumikage and Sen can go into the building, Hanta and Pony jump out of a window and land in front of them, ready for a dust-up. Hanta shoots his tape at them: the two avoid it, but Pony shoots her horns to make the tape fly around them. Sen tries to cut the tape with his Quirk, but the tape sticks to him and in his attempts to get out of it he gets trapped. Meanwhile, Fumikage gets trapped as well and Dark Shadow unsuccessfully tries to break the tape. Hanta approaches Fumikage with a capture tape, but Dark Shadow brings the other one, and the two fight to tape the rival: Hanta manages to tape one of Fumikage's wrists while Dark Shadow tapes one of Hanta's, but Pony distracts the shadow with her horns to let Hanta capture Fumikage.

Match #4

Hero Team A: Ochaco Uraraka & Ibara Shiozaki (MVP)
defeats
Villain Team D: Ami Mizuno & Nirengeki Shoda

Ami and Nirengeki bring down a good part of the interior of the building, allowing them to defend themselves at the top. Ochaco comes up with the idea of using her Quirk on steel beams and having Ibara throw them against the top floor's floor, eventually opening a hole under the bomb that allows Ibara to take it and give the win to her team.

Match #5

Hero Team S: Mezo Shoji & Yosetsu Awase
loses to
Villain Team H: Momo Yaoyorozu (MVP) & Togaru Kamakiri

Momo and Togaru make many boxes that they spread around the building, hiding the bomb in one of them while Togaru hides in another. Momo, who is tired from overusing her Quirk, lets Mezo and Yosetsu capture her. Mezo and Yosetsu split off to try to find the bomb, but the latter gets captured by an ambushing Togaru and Mezo ends up running the clock.

Flashback

Before Izuku met the study group several days before, the girls considered how Izuku, Cassandra, and Tsuyu improved so much in such a short time. Mikoto suggests Izuku may have been using his Quirk on himself, and Jiro suggests he may have been giving Cassandra and Tsuyu empowering massages.

Match #6

Hero Team C: Mikoto Misaka (MVP) & Hikari Shimooka
defeats
Villain Team R: Shoto Todoroki & Manga Fukidashi

Shoto suggests Manga create mist with his Quirk so he can freeze it, forming a thick ice wall around them. Mikoto uses her Quirk to detect where the bomb is and begins to launch metal disks with her magnetic powers to open holes in the wall. Shoto tries to repair them and Manga reinforces them temporarily, but eventually, Mikoto overwhelms them and opens a hole large enough to allow Hikari to get in with her Photon Step and touch the bomb.

After the match, Mikoto calls Shoto out for not using all of his power, before apologizing for taking her frustrations with his mother (who was a fellow Tokiwadai student who dropped out of heroics shortly after graduating from U.A.) on him.

Match #7

Hero Team L: Mashirao Ojiro & Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu
loses to
Villain Team E: Cassandra Cain & Kinoko Komori (MVP)

Cassandra holds Mashirao and Tetsutetsu off with her martial arts skills while Kinoko begins to grow mushrooms in the two boys until the mushrooms are so large it prevents them from moving.

Match #8

Hero Team N: Yuga Aoyama & Neito Monoma
loses to
Villain Team T: Koji Koda & Itsuka Kendo

(No MVP due to the Hero Team self-disqualifying before there was any confrontation)

Neito copies Yuga's Navel Laser and the two fire on the building with abandon in an attempt to force the villains out, but soon they are forced to stop when they overwhelm their resistance and have to forfeit... and find a toilet. Fast. Due to the lack of confrontation, no one was named the MVP.

Match #9

Hero Team K: Tenya Iida & Yui Kodai
loses to
Villain Team B: Kyoka Jiro (MVP) & Setsuna Tokage

When Tenya and Yui go in, Kyoka uses her Quirk to blast sounds at them, keeping them distracted and off-balance while Setsuna maintains the bomb away from them.

Match #10

Hero Team Q: Modura Penryu (MVP) & Juzo Honenuki
defeats
Villain Team F: Toru Hagakure & Hiryu Rin

Toru hangs strips of capture tape around the first floor so she can use them on Modura and Juzo. Modura counters this strategy by making her swords circle around her and Juzo, preventing Toru from approaching. This approach is slow, though, so Modura consults with Juzo and she goes on her own so she can fight Hiryu and touch the bomb.

    Towards USJ (Chapters 17-21)

Chapter 17

After the last match, the study group girls decide to come up with questions to make to Izuku, Tsuyu, and Cassandra during their review.

Elsewhere, a strangely dressed woman joins the League of Villains' women. When one of the latter threatens to attack her, the former grabs her and easily beats her, stating that she's in charge of their group and wants them to show up the men.

Chapter 18

Izuku tries to come up with ideas on what he could have done better during his combat but is coming up blank, so he decides to talk with Tsuyu, to come up with ideas between the two of them, both for their homework and for other uses of their Quirks. After Tsuyu is called away, Izuku decides to test his ability to control liquids by getting into the bathtub and pushing it around with a telekinetic barrier. Bathing in hot water triggers the first condition to unlock Heat Resistance.

During their next class, Aizawa reproaches Kirishima for using his plan, stating that he did not consider all the potential problems it could have brought because of his lack of knowledge about Shishida's Quirk, while Izuku gets commended for using his full knowledge about Tsuyu and making sure to continue with his actual mission of finding the bomb. The students take turns to state what they did well and wrong and what they plan to do to improve, and their classmates offer suggestions for improvement.

The party (All Might, Cassandra, Inko, Izuku, and Tsuyu) meets again to continue delving into All Might's Dungeon. After fighting several villains, the mid-boss, someone known as First Holder, who seems to have a connection to All Might, states he wants to help All Might and requests a chance to spar with Cassandra and Izuku. After a fight in which First Holder clearly holds back, the mid-boss surrenders, tells All Might that either of them would be a good choice, and disappears, leaving behind several scrolls that improve everyone's physical resistance. The group leaves the dungeon and notes that All Might's characteristics have improved. Nezu then calls, asking to talk with Izuku.

Nezu wants to speak to Izuku about his powers. After Izuku demonstrates his knowledge about his psionic abilities, Nezu points out that Izuku lacks the scientific grounding of psy-biology, the discipline he would need to heal All Might, requires. He does have a solution: should Izuku manage to develop a power that could allow him to use the skills of others, Nezu and Recovery Girl would be able to help Izuku gain the knowledge necessary to supplement his future psy-biology skills. Izuku accepts the challenge.

The next day, after class, Ami and Ochako approach Izuku and ask if they could join Tsuyu, Cassandra, and him in their hero training. Izuku requests them to give him some time to ask the others: Tsuyu, Cassandra and All Might do not mind, and Inko agrees after a talk with Izuku. A Quest alert appears: he must do his own Reflective Dungeon with four other people, none of which can be All Might, Cassandra, Inko, or Tsuyu.

Chapter 19

Ami, Mikoto, Momo, and Ochako are asked by Izuku to join him and the others in his party in All Might's office. Izuku requests them that they tell no one about it, and All Might assures the girls that Izuku's training method is completely legal, even if risky. The day after (after Mikoto and Momo talk about what it could be) the four girls return, ready to train. Izuku begins by inviting them to a party and bringing them to an easy dungeon, so they know what it is all about. After they get out and meet Izuku's mom, Izuku explains that the reason behind his inviting them is because he needs them to do his dungeon, since trying to do anything with the others would have meant forfeiting the quest.

When Ochako realizes that the money they found is legit, she almost asks Izuku to marry her, before sobering up and explaining she came to become a hero because she wanted to help her parents, but the others cheer her up and point out that there are worse motives than hers. Momo explains the reasons behind her hero costume, including the helmet, and after talking for a bit more they go into Izuku's dungeon - which looks a lot like his middle school, only in the form of a labyrinth.

Within, they fight several mooks that look like Izuku's old bullies, until the first mid-boss spawns. Finding him, it turns out to be Bakugou, the way he did when he was still alive. Ami takes him on solo and destroys him, explaining later that she hated him for his cruelty and his bullying. After the fight, they leave the dungeon to rest and eat, returning later to continue the fighting. The second mid-boss appears then - being past-Izuku that makes the real one think it must be what he could have been if he had concentrated on The Gamer's physical aspect (unknown to him, his actual canon self pre-U.A.), but they skip fighting him by cleaning up the representation of Dagobah Beach.

The next day, the group meets again and finishes fighting all the mooks in Izuku's dungeon, spawning the first boss - which turns out to be both canon!Bakugou and Izuku before their mid-term exams. While Izuku fights Bakugou alone, the girls go after the other Izuku: after a grueling fight, both bosses are defeated, fulfilling the quest.

As a reward, Izuku gets several advantages: he can now have six people in his party, people in his party get more experience and can talk telepathically with each other, his inventory increases in size and also adds a separate wallet function, he can change his party's equipment, the dungeons now have a second level and time within can go twice as fast and, most importantly, he can form a guild out of all those who know his secret, allowing everyone to speak telepathically as well. Momo suggests inviting Kyoka to the group, and Tsuyu says they need a name for their guild.

Chapter 20

After some discussion (studded with references to old books and series), the group decides to call their guild "Knights of the Meta" or Meta no Kishidan (メタ ノ キシダン).

The next morning, the students find themselves blocked at the entrance by a crowd of journalists asking questions. Present Mic gets them to shut up, and Nezu threatens to revoke their press access to U.A. for the Sports Festival if they do not allow the students in. When they are in, Aizawa tells the students that they have to pick their class representative. After discussing it, they agree to make it through a vote, with Izuku stating that he doesn't feel up to the task: in the end, Iida becomes the representative, while Momo is the vice-representative. At lunch, they speak about it, and Izuku invites Kyoka to the "practice group".

Then, alerts begin to ring. The students leave in a panic, causing some damage to others, but Izuku manages to combine the powers of everyone in the group (including Kyoka) to get the students to settle down, with Iida calling them out for panicking so easily.

Outside, it turns out that two members of the League (including the woman that took over the female group) have been running a distraction to allow Shigaraki to destroy the front gate and sneak in.

After the classes, the group has to leave, since U.A. is going to be under lockdown to fix the gates, and after meeting Inko outside of U.A. (since she had gone there for work reasons), he invites the group to his home. Izuku explains to Kyoka part of what they do, and after seeing how much the others are advancing, Kyoka joins in. Izuku forms a party with his mother, Tsuyu, Ami, Ochako, and Kyoka, and Inko suggests going into the dungeon of her mother's frying pan. After getting ready, they go in.

The dungeon turns out to be an island surrounded by fire, which is consuming the island, and Izuku receives a Quest: he has about three hours to clear the dungeon, or else both the dungeon and the item it reflects will be destroyed. Rapidly they begin to work, with some enemies being troubling because they are made of fire and only Izuku and Ami can hurt them without getting hurt themselves. The final boss, Cast Iron Cook, appears when they finish with most of the mooks, and the group fights it using everything they can find, with Kyoka and Ami combining their powers to make a water construct that hits with sonic blasts. Putting the boss at 0 HP does not end the quest, because it is draining the shield, so the group quickly looks for the source: finding it, Tsuyu and Kyoka burn their hands and earlobes breaking the chains connecting the boss to the shield, ending the quest with only eight minutes remaining.

As a reward, Izuku gets a step closer to unlocking Heat Resistance, as well as a bonus talent and the ability to buy objects from the inventory, and everyone else gets a special talent as well. Leaving the dungeon, Inko sends Izuku to buy food, and while he is gone, she asks the girls what are their intentions for Izuku.

Chapter 21

Inko clears up any misconceptions the girls may have: while she has no problem if any of them has any romantic attraction for Izuku, she wants to make sure that anyone who only wants to be with Izuku as a classmate say so immediately because she does not want Izuku to hurt if any of them just strings him along.

Meanwhile, Izuku wonders what his mother wanted to talk about with the girls as he runs to Ichiraku Ramen. While paying for the food, two thieves enter to rob the place - one of them having used his Quirk to detect there is a lot of money in the shop. After the shopkeeper just shows a minimal part of what they thought, the thief with the money Quirk sees that it is Izuku that has the money, and think he may be worth that in a ransom. When they get distracted after seeing he is a U.A. student, Izuku knocks one of the thieves out and gets the other to surrender.

After the police get Izuku's statement, he returns home with the food, where he gets swarmed by the girls, who were scared for him even though nothing happened to him. The group has dinner, and Izuku shows them all the contents of his Inventory. The girls consider the possibility of using Izuku's Inventory for him to carry their outfits.

The girls chat with their phones about Izuku. When Kyoka asks why their group, apart from Izuku, is all girls, Tsuyu and Ami tell them about Izuku's father leaving because he was Quirkless and the fact that, while he had no friends, girls, and female teachers treated him better, so with no positive male role models, he gravitates towards women. Kyoka mentions a previous joke he had made about Izuku having a harem, and Tsuyu replies she wouldn't exactly mind Izuku having several girlfriends, as long as she was one of them.

The next day, Aizawa tells Class 1-A that they are to go home straight after classes. When asked, he mentions that the following day's training will be "special", which everyone takes to mean "specially grueling", something All Might confirms to the rest of the Knights, asking them not to do dungeon runs. Ami decides to ask Izuku if he would like to go with her to a bookshop she knows, and he agrees. Tsuyu asks then if he would like to meet her siblings later, but Izuku mentions Ami's offer: Ami suggests that Tsuyu goes with them to the bookshop, and then the three can go meet Tsuyu's siblings, with everyone agreeing.

At the bookshop, Izuku is surprised to see that the owner doesn't show anything when he tries to analyze her. Within a section of the bookshop, they find several skill books, including one that could be used to learn magic. When they go to Tsuyu's home, they have fun, and Tsuyu's mother tells her daughter that she is planning to take up jobs back in Musutafu, allowing Tsuyu to have more free time.

The next morning, Class 1-A rides a bus to another part of U.A.'s campus, where the Space Hero, Thirteen, welcomes them to the Unforeseen Simulation Joint, or USJ for short.

    The USJ Incident (Chapters 22-26)

Chapter 22

Aizawa and Thirteen guide the students into the USJ, where the latter presents them the location's features and then divides the students into four groups of five, so they can train to be both rescuers and victims. For the morning, Izuku ends up in a team with Ojiro, Cassandra, Shoji Mezo, and Hanta Sero, alternating positions along the morning before breaking for lunch. Izuku talks with his friends about what they did, and Thirteen prepares for the afternoon training.

However, before he can do it, Izuku feels a powerful migraine, and a warp gate opens in the middle of USJ's main room, with several villains coming out. The leader, a young man covered in hands called Tomura Shigaraki, asks for All Might, but when he learns All Might is not there, under the suggestion of his minion Harley Quinn, he decides to kill some of the students. Izuku gets shocked when he cannot use his Quirk on Harley. One of the villains mentions that one of their own is jamming the signal, and Shigaraki immediately kills him.

Aizawa tells Thirteen to get the students away while he holds the villains off, and Shigaraki orders the villains to attack. However, the students counterattack, thinning the herd for Aizawa, and Thirteen begins to take the group away, instructing Iida to run as soon as he is able so he can give out the warning. A mist-like man stops them, and Kirishima and Modura attack, only for the mist-man to use his power to send them and other students - including Izuku - across USJ.

Lesson 23

Izuku lands in the mountain zone, now covered with snow, along with Ami and Modura. Izuku uses Ki Detection to detect there are sixteen villains nearby, and, analyzing the situation, realizes that the villains do not know about the students' Quirks. Izuku begins to make a plan.

Near the entrance, the mist-man - named Kurogiri - has been unable to spread the students around due to Izuku's intervention, leaving Cassandra, Hanta, Mina, Momo, and Tenya, along with Thirteen. When Cassandra points out that Kurogiri has a solid part made of metal in the neck, Hanta shoots a strap of tape at him, prompting Kurogiri to use his Quirk to send the strip at Cassandra. Thirteen goes after Kurogiri and tricks him into opening a portal, which they block with their powers, allowing Mina and Momo to trap Kurogiri with an explosive tied to a dead man's switch. When Thirteen demands Kurogiri to bring the students back, Kurogiri refuses, claiming that he'd rather die, since helping the students would cause Shigaraki to kill him - and also threatens to kill the group if Iida attempts to escape.

Meanwhile, Aizawa begins to fight the villains, knocking out most of them, until Harley - who has a Quirk that prevents other Quirks from working on her - attacks him: when it becomes obvious that Aizawa is good enough to fight her off, Shigaraki sends the Nomu to attack Aizawa.

Mikoto has fallen into the sea wreck section, and when a shark-like villain tries to attack her, Tsuyu saves her and gets her to a ship nearby. After a short detour about their mutual interest in Izuku and Mikoto's parents, they meet Kirishima, and the three plan how to get out. The villains attempt to attack, but Kirishima opens a hole in the boat, allowing Mikoto to fry them with an electrical discharge. Immediate danger out of the way, Mikoto resolves to find whoever is jamming communications, since she can detect it with her power.

In the mountain zone, Izuku, Ami, and Modura manage to knock out most of the villains attacking them with a snow avalanche and fight the ones that avoid it until they are immobilized or knocked out as well. Knowing the danger their friends are in, the three slide down the mountain - while Modura considers that there is more to Izuku than it seems.

Lesson 24

While the students keep fighting against the villains, Izuku, Ami, and Modura arrive at the main square, helping to reinforce the ice wall Todoroki had built earlier to fend off the villains. A brief discussion on whether to kill Kurogiri or not is interrupted when the Nomu throws Eraserhead above the wall: Izuku manages to reach him before he lands, and manages to keep him from dying by using his ki healing.

The Nomu crashes through the wall, still following Shigaraki's order to kill Aizawa. Izuku manages to hold it off, but Harley blocks Thirteen before he can kill the Nomu, nearly killing them if not for Modura's intervention. The students fight off the villains coming through the wall, but Cassandra is mentally blocked because Harley's power prevents her from reading her. One villain manages to stop Tenya with a power that forms stone around him, forcing Mina to work on using her acid to keep his face uncovered while fighting the villain. After Shigaraki destroys the bomb holding Kurogiri off, he orders the Nomu to kill Izuku.

Mikoto, Tsuyu, and Kirishima manage to find the man blocking communication, and Mikoto knocks him out with one of her attacks, using the lifting of the jamming to call All Might through the Guild Chat feature. However, the villain is backed up by a group of others, who have abilities that prevent Mikoto's coin-based attacks from working. However, Mikoto's power is not based on just magnetism, and she is not alone, starting a fight with the four villains.

All Might is regretting his choice of becoming a U.A. teacher because it means he is in a boring conversation with Nezu when Mikoto's message comes through. Nezu tells All Might to head directly towards the USJ with Midnight while he assembles the other teachers and the Big Three to strike.

The fight at the USJ continues. Ami uses her power to put a ball of water on the Nomu's head, prompting Shigaraki to have Kurogiri send him next to her. When it becomes obvious that Shigaraki is trying to kill Ami, Izuku pulls out all the stops and massively uses his Attribute Points to give himself a great boost to his abilities.

Lesson 24.5

Boosting his attributes so much and so suddenly doesn't immediately pay off for Izuku, who gets a migraine from the large increase to his mental attributes. This, however, triggers the Gamer into offering him a one-time chance to get a skill called Pause. This skill makes it so he can think at an incredibly large speed, essentially giving himself five minutes to think with nothing moving, but in exchange, he cannot move or use skills that spend Energy or that would affect the physical world. The price, however, is the Bonus Talents he has earned from pushing his Intuition, Quickness, and Wit past 50. After picking the bonus talents for the other improved abilities and getting a couple of extra talents, he's left trying to decide what's worth more, Pause or the three Bonus Talents.

Lesson 25

In the end, Izuku decides not to get Pause, figuring that it is less efficient than what he needs at the moment. Instead, he gets three talents, and also a new skill that allows him to detect when someone is hostile towards him.

When the pause finishes, Izuku immediately attacks the Nomu, sending it flying against Shigaraki. This not only distracts him from trying to kill Ami but also causes the villain to instinctively use his Decay Quirk on it, disintegrating its arm in spite of its regeneration power: Harley is forced to break off from her fight to cancel Decay's effect. Realizing the threat Izuku presents, Shigaraki tells the Nomu to kill Izuku at any cost, while the rest of the students keep fighting.

In the mountains, Mikoto manages to talk the villains there into allowing themselves to be disabled, canceling the jamming field, and allowing her to communicate with the others. Fortunately, All Might and Midnight are already on their way, and everyone else is still on their feet. While Mikoto cannot join the fight, lest the jamming villain tries to escape, she uses her railgun to burst several pipes, allowing Ami to get more water to use in her fighting. Ami manages to hit Shigaraki in the face, loosening the hand covering his face and driving the villain into trying to kill her, eliminating her water while she and Momo fight him off. Harley breaks Mo-chan's arm and knocks Cassandra into Shigaraki's path, with Cassandra surviving when Shigaraki's attack only destroys her mask.

Then, Stheno, the petrifier villain, reveals she can use her Quirk on two targets at the same time, turning Ami's water into mud. Sero gets sent by Kurogiri to where Mikoto, Tsuyu, and Kirishima are and Izuku breaks his arm in an attack on the Nomu. With the students on the ropes, Izuku tells All Might he is going to pull him into the dungeon and bring him back, but All Might tells him not to bother - because he is finally there.

Lesson 26

As the Nomu turns to attack All Might, Izuku attacks it and buys a talent to comprehend things he sees more than twice as fast as before, and tells All Might and Midnight about the villains' Quirks. While Harley tackles Midnight, Shigaraki orders Kurogiri to send all the students away except for Ami, and to bring in several villains. Cassandra and Izuku manage to dodge the portals, and Izuku figures out how Kurogiri's Quirk works, prompting Shigaraki to order Kurogiri to withdraw to the top of the dome, and the other villains attack Cassandra and Izuku.

Izuku manages to knock out three villains but has trouble dealing with an armadillo-like villain whose Quirk makes it harder to hit him, so Cassandra takes on him while Izuku deals with Stheno and "Mindy". Harley and Midnight exchange blows and barbs, and Tsuyu tells Izuku through the Party Chat that she and some of the others are moving to join them.

All Might mentally considers how their position, while initially worrying, is slowly improving for the heroes, as he gains steam against the Nomu and the other teachers and the Big Three are soon to arrive. So he decides to stop holding back against the Nomu and punches it so hard that the shockwave puts everyone off balance and sends the Nomu flying against the stairs, where he pummels him with two powerful strikes. Cassandra gets through the armadillo-man's Quirk and hits him in the stomach, making him vomit before she knocks him out, joining to support Izuku in his fight against the two villainesses.

However, when the Nomu hits the stairs, his vertebrae break, allowing him to make an otherwise impossible move and graze All Might with a punch right on his old injury, hurting him. Shigaraki manages to get rid of Ami's last water orb and moves to kill her, but Izuku jumps in, halting the hands-covered villain. Izuku's TK armor only holds off for a few seconds and he loses his shirt before he can concentrate all his power on his torso. The Nomu manages to grab onto All Might before he can help Izuku, and Izuku gets ready to use Plus Ultra to kill Shigaraki, but before he can the teachers and the Big Three arrive, with Snipe shooting Shigaraki and forcing him to back off while Nejire Hado and Present Mic attack Harley with no success. Kurogiri decides it is time to cut their losses and he pulls Shigaraki, Harley, Stheno, and Mindy away, leaving the Nomu behind. Midnight knocks it out with her Quirk, and Izuku faints, fully spent.

    The Sports Festival (Chapters 27-36)

Lesson 27

Izuku wakes up, still sore, after several hours asleep, with Recovery Girl explaining that she wanted to see if Izuku's power could really heal him, before telling him about the other injured people and informing him about Detective Tsukauchi wanting to interview him about the events in the USJ. All Might tells Izuku that Tsukauchi knows about him being an Irregular, so he won't have to worry about the detective inquiring over his power.

Tsukauchi and Inko arrive, and Izuku relates the events from his point of view, leaving out some details pertaining to The Gamer but including his brief sight of Kurogiri and the fact that the Nomu had five Quirks on him. When Tsukauchi leaves, Inko tells him that she was worried, but knows that Izuku can defend himself. Izuku adds her to the party, and Inko points out an alert: a Secret Quest, "Meet and Greet the League", which has rewarded him with a perk for the Guild Hall (a Kitchen) and 50 million yen for knocking out 75% of the League's cannon fodder. Izuku resolves to talk with the girls later to determine how to make the money needed to buy the Guild Hall.

In the bar that serves as the League of Villains' headquarters, Shigaraki growls about how the students were able to stop the League of Villains even though they were outnumbered five-to-one and that All Might was stronger than he believed. "Sensei", All for One, speaks through the television to explain that All Might has improved his fighting skills since their fight, and tells Shigaraki that he will recruit new villains, based on power rather than numbers, and asks about Izuku.

That night, Izuku tries to write down on the Quirks he's seen at the attack and think how to exploit or cover their vulnerabilities, but his musings are interrupted by All Might, who has come to tell him a story: the story of two brothers. The eldest had a Quirk that could be used to take other people's Quirks, and he used it to become Japan's most feared villain, All for One. The youngest seemingly had no Quirk but tried to oppose his brother out of a sense of justice. All for One, out of mockery for his brother, forcibly gave him a Quirk that allowed its holder to store power - but neither brother knew that the youngest did have a Quirk, one whose only perk was that it could be freely given to others, but not stolen. The two Quirks fused, giving birth to One for All. The youngest tried his best to use the Quirk and gather allies to bring his brother down, but was unable to do it before All for One killed him... but he managed to pass One for All to another Hero, who passed it to another, and so until the current day, where All Might is its Eighth Holder.

The reason for this tale is that All Might has realized that All for One, contrary to what he had hoped, is still alive, but All Might is not so young and capable anymore, so he is considering who could be his successor, and he asks Izuku if he is willing to be the Ninth. Izuku explains how he had planned to kill Shigaraki during the attack, but All Might replies that sometimes a Hero has to kill the Villain, especially if that Villain would be a true danger for the innocents, and repeats his offer. Izuku asks for some time because he does not think he's the best candidate and does not know how One for All will interact with The Gamer. All Might agrees, but tells him not to take too long.

The next day, the students meet at class and check up on each other, and All Might comes to tell them he's substituting Aizawa for a couple of days, because their homeroom teacher is being kept in traction for at least until the weekend, and that they have a free day to do as they wish, but pointing out that they have midterm exams in two weeks, as well as the Sports Festival. Sero mentions that going to the pool would be a good idea, and everyone decides to join. Izuku checks on Ami, who blushes when she notices, and he makes a gesture to Tsuyu, who agrees to go with him to the library. There, Tsuyu guesses that Izuku is falling for Ami, and Izuku feels terrible for being in love with them both, but Tsuyu points out she has no problem with a polyamorous relationship between the three of them - and more, since she knows he also finds Momo and the others in the Guild attractive.

When they arrive at the pool, girls and boys are split into different sides of the pool. The boys rope Izuku in a discussion about how to rank the girls based on attractiveness, which Izuku protests - not knowing that the girls are doing pretty much the same. When pressed for who he considers the best looking, he picks Hagakure, making it look like he's making a joke.

The following day, the Knights of the Meta (save for All Might) meet so Izuku can take them on dungeon runs, and Izuku brings up the matter of how The Gamer is seemingly trying to get him to buy the Guild Hall, so he proposes to save half the money they earn through dungeon running for the Guild Hall, which everyone agrees to. He also asks them to consider the possibility of inviting Hagakure to join the Knights.

Lesson 27.5

Momo comes up with the idea of hosting a study sleepover with the girls from both 1-A and 1-B, so they can both prepare for the upcoming midterm exams and also check whether Hagakure or any of the other girls would be a good member for the Knights of the Meta. Izuku (who is going to babysit Tsuyu's siblings) mentions knowing what Hagakure actually looks like: the group theorizes that the invisible girl may actually be able to become visible, but doesn't because she feels too ashamed about her looks or doesn't want to attract undue attention because of her beauty.

Izuku asks his mother about polyamory, mentioning how he likes both Tsuyu and Ami and how Tsuyu mentioned she would be alright with it. Inko reassures her son that, as long as he and the girls are happy with it and with each other, then there should be no problem with it.

Most of the girls accept Momo's invitation, and after a moment marveling at the size of Momo's mansion, they enjoy their dinner as they make their plans for the evening: studying for several hours, and then they can play games and watch a movie.

Inko and Nemuri are on a night out, presumably to talk about the latter's costume, but in the end, they go out to a club, where Inko shows her the physical change she has undergone in the past year. The two women begin to flirt with each other.

At Momo's house, the girls gather for "Seven Minutes Friends": they will make pairs and get into different rooms, so they can know each other better and share secrets with each other.

Shimooka Hikari and Mikoto talk, and the former reveals she was in Mikoto's class at Tokiwadai for a few months before she pulled out of school after a friend's death (caused by Villains who wanted to get back at her father, a Hero) made her realize of the dangers to both herself and her family if she became a Hero. Mikoto then mentions how her parents did not want her to be a Hero, so she renounced the Tokiwadai recommendation to U.A. and arranged to take the regular exam without her parents knowing.

Ami tells Toru about how she had wanted to become a doctor like her mother, only for Izuku to encourage her to become a Hero, and also confesses to being in love with him because of how nice he is. She asks Toru if she really does not know how she looks like, and she mentions that, indeed, she has not seen herself since her Quirk kicked in.

Itsuka mentions that she wants to be a Hero because she wants to prove the power of her family's martial arts and help spread them again, and also that she admires Izuku and Cassandra for their martial arts skills. In exchange, Cassandra tells her about her past, traveling around the world, and how she wants to be a Hero to make her father proud - also sharing that her father is the Vigilante Orphan.

Ami, Modura, and Momo end up together in the second round, and Modura spends little time in telling the others that she knows the sleepover was a cover for finding people for Izuku's group and that she wants to join in, before sharing her own past: her mother was a girl obsessed with her Father, Saber, to the point of using her Quirk to steal several of Saber's eggs and fusing them with one of her own to create a girl almost identical to Saber. Saber took her back to Japan, where the two lived with Pro Hero EMIYA and Modura's Aunt Rin.

Inko and Nemuri enjoy a passionate night together, and consider whether they could have a future together beyond being just friends.

The girls enjoy their movie night, with Setsuna Tokage having a nerdgasm at the state-of-the-art technology Momo has at her home.

On their second day of midterm exams, Izuku is called by Advisory-sensei, the Hero History teacher, who asks him about the rather lengthy answer he wrote for one of the questions, about the Rhode Island Seven, the world's first superheroes. Learning that he has a copy of the first edition of Speed Force, The Flash's autobiography, she asks to borrow it, and Izuku says he will bring it the next day before the Sports Festival begins - upon which moment Advisory tells him she is looking forward to his speech, something he knows nothing about.

In Kurogiri's bar, Harley talks with All for One through the television and asks about the search for a girl she asked for. The search has been unsuccessful so far, unfortunately for Harley. All for One asks why the girl is so important, and Harley states that, whether she joined the League of Villains or All for One just took her Quirk, the League would greatly benefit from it, and All for One agrees to increase the intensity of their search.

Lesson 28

After his talk with Advisory, Izuku begins to panic because he has just learned about having to give the inaugurational Sports Festival speech and he has less than a day to write a speech people will like. The girls suggest helping him come up with something, but Izuku and All Might agree that it is something best done on his own.

The next day, after loaning Speed Force to Advisory, the Sports Festival begins, and Izuku is called on to give the speech: with it, he calls onto all the students to consider that there is more to the Festival than a mere competition, that all of them will become heroes of different types, and to do their best, allowing him to unlock the Public Speaking skill and raising his Determination. Nezu congratulates him and tells the participating First Years to follow him and Cementoss to the first task: the Labyrinth.

Their task is easy: navigate the Labyrinth and reach the exit doors within ninety minutes, although there will be traps, enemies, and puzzles on the way, parts of the Labyrinth will penalize the student that destroys them and hurting the other competitors is forbidden. The first forty-four students (out of 150 participants) who cross the exit will be the ones that pass to the next round. Izuku asks if it is forbidden to team up, and Nezu confirms that it is not, before giving the start signal.

While everyone rushes for the doors (Todoroki blocking one of them with his ice), Izuku waits behind and jumps high enough to see the labyrinth makeout, before running to the blocked entrance and destroying the ice, a moment in which he gets a new Quest, The Best Around: win the Sports Festival (which would grant him a Guild Hall Perk and 20 million yen for the Gamer shop), with bonus objectives in also winning the first two rounds - as well as a mysterious reference to someone who won't feel inspired.

Meanwhile, the League of Villains and the Eight Bullets watch the Festival, intent on checking the hero students' capabilities.

Lesson 29

Kuroiro Shirai uses his Quirk to hide himself in Izuku's black shoelaces, seeing his opinion of him improve as he uses his intelligence and strength to get through the first obstacles.

Izuku uses his knowledge from checking the labyrinth from up top to pick the fastest path through it, encountering and fighting an ogre-like robot before doing a Towers of Hanoi puzzle in seconds, much to Itsuka, Shimooka, and Midnight's amazement (and Inko's answer that she would have teased her son if he had not done the puzzle perfectly). Itsuka asks Izuku if he wants to team up with them, but when Izuku asks if Shimooka will use her Quirk to Photon Jump to the exit, she replies she'd rather not team up. At the next junction, the girls take a branch that will cause them to loop back while he continues towards the next obstacle.

This turns out to be a corridor with cannons that fire foam balls, glueballs, or smoke bombs: Izuku uses Tactile Telekinesis to 'grab' the projectiles, keeping two for his use while leaving the others behind. After a platform section, he encounters a chimera-like robot, using the balls to prevent the robot from attacking him. As he enters the final stretch, Todoroki manages to finish, but Izuku arrives soon after him, securing the first place (achieving the Quest's first bonus objective) thanks to him waiting before going into the labyrinth and Todoroki getting one penalty, while Kuroiro gets second place as Izuku crossed the finish line headfirst. Next comes Hatsume Mei, who takes third place; Mikoto takes fourth, Tsuyu ends up just behind Todoroki. Aizawa decides to warn his students that they are being graded for their performance and that reaching the second round will ensure a passing mark. When Nezu sends the students to the locker, Todoroki asks Izuku if they can talk.

When alone, Todoroki tells Izuku he knows his secret: he is All Might's secret child, pointing out some circumstantial evidence (him beginning the same year All Might started teaching, Izuku's parents divorcing, and them spending much time together) while Izuku points out that those don't make sense due to how many people it could apply to. Todoroki then states that Izuku's Tactile Telekinesis is also Superman's Quirk, bringing up an old rumor about Superman being All Might's father, and thus, in Todoroki's hypothesis, this would make Superman Izuku's grandfather. Izuku, naturally, denies all of it, and Todoroki states that he wants to defeat Izuku to show his father, Endeavor, how he is better by defeating All Might's "son" and become the top of the class. Izuku asks if his clear resentment with Endeavor is the reason why he won't use his fire, and Todoroki leaves with a grimace.

Lesson 30

Izuku returns to the lockers angrily thinking about Todoroki bringing up rumors that cast a bad light on his mother, only for Iida to meet him and ask what is wrong. Izuku mentions hearing nasty rumors about his family, and Iida suggests he ignore them since no matter what he does people will still come up with weird rumors about him. Izuku thanks him and heads to the lockers to take some rest.

Ami talks with Modura and tells her she knows her grandparents are Uther Pendragon and his wives: she won't do anything with the knowledge, she's telling Modura because she feels the girl could use talking with someone else. Modura jokingly asks if that will remain even if she goes after Izuku, but Ami surprises her by implying she could actually be open to Modura getting involved with Izuku as well.

Izuku uses his inventory to buy stamina regeneration potions to quickly recover and joins the other competitors in the lounge, where he finds Mikoto talking to Mitsuko Kongou, a fellow Tokiwadai alumnus who was Mikoto's friendly rival and who ended up in General Studies due to her Quirk limitations. Ojiro arrives and asks if he can talk with Izuku: he mentions how another student, Shinso Hitoshi, used his Quirk on him and Hagakure to make them team up with him, and then order them to remain behind, costing the two of them the chance to get to the second event.

After thirty minutes, Present Mic tells the students that have passed to the second event to return to the arena, which has been turned into a beach. Midnight, who is the event's arbitrator, tells them they will have to team up in groups of four for a cavalry battle, laying down the rules: each team will have a headband with the combined value of the points of all the team-mates, and they have to take the other teams' headbands. The top four teams will see their members pass to the next round. Izuku asks several questions, trying to find what limits there are to the action, and Midnight answers before sending them to form teams.

Immediately, the girls in the Knights pair up in groups, leaving Izuku on his own. Izuku manages instead to get Hatsume, Shimooka, and Iida into his team, with Shinso using his Quirk on Itsuka and Tetsutetsu. When the initial points are presented to them, Izuku has 10,000 points, and the combined points of his team add up to 11,360 points, the most of all. Grinning in triumph, Izuku explains his plan to his team, who appear to agree with his optimism.

Lesson 31

Izuku explains his initial plan: get another headband and then use the rules to legally get the team out of the way, thus preserving their advantage. However, he doesn't want to use that tactic because no one would get to show what they could do and Midnight might restart the battle to avoid that exploit. So, he explains his second idea: Iida and he will join hands to act as mounts while the girls sit on Izuku's arms, taking advantage of Izuku's Tactile Telekinesis so Iida can act when needed, while the headband is carried by D-Cube, Mei's drone, which will be covered by Hikari - who can also use her Photon Jumps to steal other headbands. Mei gets Hikari one of her inventions, a Sun Spot Disc, that she can use to absorb light much faster, and reprograms her drone so it can go on auto-pilot.

The Battle begins. While several teams go after Izuku's team, others go after Kuroiro's, since he's holding a headband worth about 2,500 points, enough to secure qualification. Izuku's team goes after Kamakiri's, who combine their powers to create a large wind-breaker - failing to achieve their objective of stopping Izuku's team. Hikari blinds them with a flash of light and steals their headband - and then she ties both headbands to D-Cube, which takes off. While Aizawa points out the technical legality of the move, Mei has D-Cube move and fire to avoid being attacked by Mikoto (teamed up with Ami, Cassandra, and Modura).

Todoroki and his team (Tokoyami, Kirishima, and Shoji) manage to steal Kuroiro's headband and head for the water, which Todoroki turns into ice to create a walled island. However, his plan turns into ashes when Mikoto's team manages to bring down the wall and steal Todoroki's original headband.

Meanwhile, Team 8 (formed by Bondo, Rin, Tsunotori, and Tsuburaba) are using Solid Air to create platforms to allow them to get closer to D-Cube, and Tsunotori fires several horns covered in Bondo's glue. Hikari fires a laser to attempt to break the Solid Air platform in such a way that it cannot hold the entire team, but before it does, one of the horns snags a headband.

Lesson 32

The snagged headband turns out to be their original headband, losing Izuku's team most of their points. Izuku wastes a minute overthinking whether to recover the headband or change targets before Inko interrupts his train of thoughts via Guild Chat. As Tsu's team gets the golden headband, further steals keep taking place, and Izuku's team aims for Shoda's team, which has two headbands. Mei uses D-Cube to deliver sleeping gas to them, putting the group out of commission (and out of battle) while Hikari takes their headbands.

The team is then attacked by Kongo (who has teamed up with Shinso, Kendo, and Tetsutetsu), who uses her Wind Control Quirk to trap Izuku's team in the sleeping gas, but Mei quickly gives the group antidote patches to counter the gas' effects and Izuku warns the others not to interact with Shinso before telling them to duck. As Kongo generates more wind, Izuku uses his TK armor to protect the team, then guides them away - and when they are far enough, Hikari uses her Photon Jump to land on Itsuka, steal her headband and return - while Todoroki's team has the golden headband.

As time passes, several teams without points manage to push Izuku's team against Mikoto's, expecting to use their distraction to snag some headbands. While Hikari uses her power to boil the water Ami has collected, Mikoto attempts to fire at them, only for D-Cube to jump in and take the hit while answering with a glue pellet that proves to be sticky enough to prevent Mikoto from shooting her discs while it also spreads to Ami. Iida tells Izuku to jump and activates Recipro Burst, which allows their team to rush Mikoto's team and snag their headbands. Iida deactivates the Burst before his engines explode, but it forces him to go slower until they cool down.

While Team 8 is Downed, Tokage's team decides to attack Izuku's, but the initial attempt to steal the headbands seems to fail - until Izuku notices Tokage has sent her fingers to stealthily take them. Izuku manages to grab the fingers instead and begins to count, making Tokage remember too late that this could leave them Downed, but her teammates' attempt to force Izuku to drop the fingers fails.

In the teachers' box, Advisory and Nezu comment on the battle, while Advisory complains about being forced to wear a swimsuit.

With Tokage's team out of the way, Izuku grabs their headband as the final fifteen seconds begin. Suddenly, Mikoto's team launches an all-out offensive against Todoroki's, distracting them while Ami uses her water control to steal the golden headband from Todoroki - who almost uses fire to prevent it, but ends up stopping himself.
Elsewhere in the field, Shinso manages to trick Tsuyu into answering to him while Itsuka uses her hands to prevent Kyoka, Momo, and Ochako from interfering. Tsuyu is forced to give her headband to Shinso.
The battle ends, and the finalists are Teams 9 (Mikoto, Ami, Cassandra and Modura), 1 (Izuku, Iida, Hikari and Mei), 3 (Todoroki, Shoji, Kirishima and Tokoyami) and 11 (Shinso, Kongo, Kendo and Tetsutetsu). After Midnight tells everyone to take a one-hour break, Mei goes to dissolve the glue on Mikoto, and Ami and Izuku pull Tsuyu to talk alone.

He consoles her for not being able to pass to the third round and tells her that he really likes how the swimsuit looks on her, and she teases him before he starts with the actual reason he wanted to talk with her: since the next day should be free, they could have an actual first date. Tsuyu kisses him and tells him that she will accept if he wins the tournament. This prompts The Gamer to revise the reward from winning the Tournament while noting he was unable to win Round 2.

Lesson 33

Changing clothes and downing more energy potions, Izuku then goes to the private box from where his mother is watching the Festival. After trading a few lighthearted jokes, Izuku thanks Inko for breaking him out of his overthinking and mentions how he cheered Tsuyu up by asking her on a date, prompting a newly arrived Midnight to tease him. Izuku notices the looks between his mother and his teacher and mentally vows to take revenge on the latter if she breaks his mother's heart.

His thoughts are interrupted when he nearly bumps into Endeavor, who loses little time in starting to deride his youngest son for not using his fire, and quickly makes Izuku realize that there are worse fathers than his around when Endeavor tells him to humiliate his son just for the sake of making him fully use his Quirk. Izuku analyzes Endeavor (getting a few snarky comments from his Quirk) before returning to the waiting room.

When the students are called again to the arena, it has been transformed into a platform for the traditional fighting tournament. After Present Mic explains the rules, the matches are shown: Izuku vs Ami, Tokoyami vs Shinso, Tetsutetsu vs Mikoto, Hikari vs Kendo, Cassandra vs Mei, Iida vs Todoroki, and Kongou vs Kirishima.

The first match between Izuku and Ami begins soon. Ami relays through the Guild Chat that she doesn't believe she can defeat Izuku, much less with how relatively little water she has. Izuku and the other Guild members suggest ideas on how she could use them, and Cementoss starts the battle.

Ami stands back, ready to fight Izuku when he approaches her, but Izuku surprises her by taking off his jacket and tank top and using them to grab most of Ami's water and throwing it away, reducing the water she has available by more than half. Ami tries to use her remaining water to distract and knock the wind out of Izuku, but he powers through and uses his Tactile TK to hit her in such a way she should fall outside of the ring, but Ami manages to use the water in the canteen she hid under her jacket to push herself into the ring. Izuku charges at her and she uses the water to block Izuku's attacks and attempt to counter, but Izuku grabs her and drops her outside the ring, giving him the victory.

While Izuku takes a rest at his particular isolated pod, Tokoyami and Shinso begin their fight. Shinso attempts to trick Tokoyami into falling for his Quirk, but Tokoyami avoids it and summons Dark Shadow - only for the creature to become Brainwashed and take Tokoyami out of bounds. Mikoto easily defeats Tetsutetsu with a pair of railguns. Hikari uses an illusion to make Kendo step out of the ring. Modura manages to win over Shoji by cutting him enough times that he becomes woozy from blood loss. Mei just spends the entire match pitching her gadgets while avoiding Cassandra before surrendering (much to the girl's ire). Todoroki quickly traps Iida in ice. And Kirishima manages to break through Kongou's winds and force her out of the ring.

Since it is early yet, Present Mic announces the next match will begin soon: Izuku vs Shinso.

Lesson 34

Izuku observes the Pro Heroes at the other side of the stadium, and recognizes one of them, deciding to use signs to ask Advisory to return him Speed Force.

The first combat, between Izuku and Shinso, is called, and the match begins. Izuku deliberately triggers Shinso's Quirk, who orders him to jump off the ring, only for his powers to protect Izuku as he gets a skill to resist Shinso's Quirk. Izuku proceeds to tell Shinso his dislike for how his actions have caused the disqualification of seven of his classmates. While Present Mic and Aizawa consider how Izuku is managing to resist Shinso's Brainwashing, Izuku threatens to humiliate or pummel Shinso, which gives him the Intimidate skill. Realizing he's doing things Endeavor would do, Izuku stops playing around and throws Shinso out of the ring.
In the next match, Aizawa unhooks Present Mic's microphone as Mikoto and Shimooka get ready. Mikoto floats her coins around her while Shimooka bends light around herself to become invisible. While Mikoto uses her coins to protect herself, Shimooka moves around, using her illusions to distract Mikoto until she throws her jacket away, tricking Mikoto into firing several coins while Shimooka jumps behind her, but Mikoto manages to shock her before getting thrown out of bounds. Shimooka manages to win by standing on her own feet before the count of ten, giving her the victory.
While Recovery Girl treats Shimooka, it is time for Modura vs Cassandra. Modura quickly attacks Cassandra, using her swords to flank her, but Cassandra quickly kicks the weapons away and wrestles her down, winning her match.
The last match between Kirishima and Todoroki begins well for the former, who uses his Hardening to give himself some space and break the ice Todoroki creates, but Todoroki is able to send him sliding off the ring with a large snowball. Todoroki then suggests holding his fight with Cassandra right then, which she agrees to.
When the match begins, Cassandra quickly reacts by jumping, avoiding Todoroki's ice, and she runs towards him. However, Todoroki manages to counter this by elevating himself and forcing Cassandra to run up a slippery slope that she cannot counter. Resigning herself to defeat, she lets herself drop out of the ring and asks Izuku to avenge her, although Izuku still has to fight Shimooka.

Lesson 35

As he enters the ring for his next combat, Izuku checks Hikari and notices that her health and psions (what fuels her Quirk-derived powers) are well below her best in the aftermath of her fight with Mikoto. When Cementoss begins the fight, Izuku waits for Hikari to make the first move, but when she won't, Izuku asks Cementoss the rules on breaking the platform: as long as he's still standing on concrete, he's still in a fight.

Using his tactile TK, Izuku rips two blocks to use them as shields against Hikari's lasers, but she surprises him by jumping over the blocks and blinding him with a flash, but Izuku can still use his powers to track her and hits her with the pieces of one of the blocks before charging at her. When he gets into punching range, he strikes her several times and sweeps her legs, rendering her unconscious before she falls to the floor. While Izuku and Hikari are taken to Recovery Girl, Present Mic declares a one-hour break.

Izuku faces off Todoroki, and as soon as the fight begins the latter covers the entire ring in ice, preventing Izuku from trying to find some wiggle moving space - but before Cementoss can declare the end of the match, Izuku reinforces his strength and pushes his tactile telekinesis to the maximum, lifting the entire glacier and breaking it in two with a Gondor Smash.

While Ami and some of the Pros deal with the glacier before it can fall on the audience, Izuku pointedly asks Todoroki if that was his plan, and asking what he would have done if he had been fighting somebody that could nullify his main strategy much easier before calling him out on not using his full Quirk on the basis of annoying his father. Todoroki decides to use his fire just to shut Izuku up, but the attack allows Izuku to fully unlock his Heat Resistance skill, and he charges Todoroki.

The two teenagers engage in a full-blown fistfight, Todoroki trying to use fire and ice to gain an advantage that Izuku denies with his quick reflexes, taking advantage of his better melée skills to beat him before throwing him out of the ring. Todoroki attempts to make an ice slide to avoid falling, but one Asgard Smash is enough to shatter it, making Todoroki fall and netting Izuku the victory.

After the medal ceremony, Izuku gets Speed Force back and, with permission from Advisory, uses Jet Set Run to run after the mysterious Pro Hero he saw earlier, who leads him to Dagobah Beach, where Izuku stops when he can't follow her into the water. The Pro Hero, Berri Allen, The Flash, returns and good-naturedly signs Izuku's copy of Speed Force before she mentions she came to the Festival after returning from meeting Shin Sun-il, Captain Korea, to warn him about the grand-daughter of the Yellow Head of Tiamat forming her own villain group and the possibility of her trying to attack either Korea or Japan, and asks Izuku to tell only All Might about it. After Berri leaves, Izuku invites All Might to the Party and asks to meet him that night.

Lesson 36

Aizawa meets with Ojiro and Hagakure after the tournament ends, and tells them that, in normal circumstances, both of them would have been on probation for not reaching the second round, but they are getting a pass on that due to how Shinso not only used them to get to the end but also forced them to lose out on being one of the 44 for the Cavalry Battle. Kongou is marked for moving up to Class 1-B.

After the two leave, it is Shinso's turn, and Aizawa begins by asking if he actually wants to be a Hero. Shinso believes it is related to his Quirk, since he's been called a villain and framed for other people's actions for years, but Aizawa (after showing him that some of the Pro Heroes actually considered his Quirk a good asset) replies that the problem is in his personality, since his decision to force the two students to remain behind was not only villain-like but also stupid. Aizawa also points out that, while it is true that the entrance exam favors people with flashy or destructive Quirks, that did not prevent Ojiro nor Hagakure from putting through the work to physically condition themselves. While Aizawa cannot expel him, Shinso gets warned that, if he wants to be a Hero, he better put an effort.

Berri returns to the United States and goes to the Kent farm to meet with Clark Kent. After informing Clark about her meeting with Captain Korea and the rising villain problem, Berri tells him about her encounter with Izuku (whom Clark remembers from their correspondence) and how he won the Sports Festival. Clark worries about the possibility of him being related to All for One, but Berri states he might actually be like someone called Orin.

All Might meets with Izuku, who relays to him the Flash's warning. After a brief detour about All Might's collaboration with Captain Korea, Izuku comes back to the issue of All Might's succession: he thinks that it might be possible to split One for All's power between several people, something All Might decides to check. Izuku then cashes in his reward from The Best Around, which gives him 20 million yen, a Locker Room for the future Guild Hall, and the Psysensate Studies talent, which hastens the growth of the Telepathy and Clairsentience-related powers.

During the somewhat lackluster Second Year competition, Iida receives an emergency call from his family. Afterwards, Izuku takes Tsuyu on their date (a movie, then dinner) which both of them enjoy, and Tsuyu asks Izuku when he plans to ask Ami out - with him deciding to talk to her soon. Izuku escorts her to her home, and as he returns home he finds himself accosted by people who have seen the First Year Sports Festival and want to congratulate him. His mood turns sour when he arrives home, as his mother informs him about Ingenium being in critical condition.

The next day, the students discuss the attack after the Third Year competition, with Iida assuring them that his brother is stable. Aizawa interrupts their conversation, and tells Iida he should meet with Hound Dog (the school psychologist) before telling them they have no class the next day, as the teachers have to deal with the Pro Heroes' internship requests for the students: the school will help with the arrangements for their internships, which will take place in two weeks.

    Shie Hassaikai Arc (Chapters 37-42)

Lesson 37

Izuku decides to go out and train some of his skills on the street, trying to get a handle on some like Empathy and Clairvoyance. His training gets interrupted when Nezu calls him: he has several animal carcasses which he plans to use to train his surgery skills, and offers Izuku the chance to train his psychic skills. Before he can answer, Izuku detects someone being very scared and he cuts the call.

Following the feeling leads Izuku to a little girl, with a spiral horn and clear signs of abuse. Izuku manages to calm her down and she asks him to save her, revealing her name to be Eri. A man appears then, claiming to be Eri's guardian, but Izuku can tell that the man is not acting in Eri's interests, so he attempts to help protect Eri by trying to go to the nearest police station. The man suddenly uses his Quirk to create an air barrier between Izuku and Eri, but Izuku manages to shatter the barrier with a punch and grabs Eri tight. The man tries to threaten Izuku, but All Might arrives right on time, warned by Izuku through Guild Chat.

The man, Hekiji Tengai, decides to run away in the face of the Symbol of Peace, who takes Izuku and Eri to UA. Hekiji meets with his boss, Kai Chisaki, known as Overhaul, and tells him about Izuku, whom another of Overhaul's minions, Rappa, recognizes from the Sports Festival since Eri had been watching the event intently. Overhaul decides to find Izuku, believing that following him will allow them to retrieve Eri.

At UA, while Izuku and Aizawa watch over a sleeping Eri, Nezu shows an assorted group of heroes the information they have gathered about the young girl and Hekiji, who belongs to a yakuza organization known as Shie Hassaikai. When Advisory asks why they would be interested in Eri, Recovery Girl arrives with the answer: Eri has the power to turn the clock back on people, shown as she has been turned several years younger. Eri also shows clear signs of being heavily experimented on, much to the wrath of the present Heroes, who nonetheless know they cannot directly act against the Shie Hassaikai without proof of actual crimes. For the moment, Eri will remain at UA.

Elsewhere, Kurogiri has found Stain and asks the League of Villains' leadership if they want to bring him in: Harley states that, without an adequate profile on the Hero Killer, they cannot be sure he will fit in their group, which All for One agrees with.

Lesson 38

Izuku asks Nezu what is going to happen to Eri, and the principal mentions that Eri will stay living at UA, next to Aizawa and Recovery Girl. After Izuku vouches for both of them, Eri hesitantly accepts. Tsuyu arrives with clothes that fit her (Izuku having asked her through Guild Chat) and helps her get dressed, and Izuku picks up the bandage Eri's bandage for reasons he doesn't explain.

After Eri is dressed, the group of teachers and students goes to Eri's room in the school, attached to Recovery Girl's apartment. Eri notes the dust (as the healer points out that she has not been in the apartment for the entirety of the Sports Festival), saying that Overhaul cannot stand dirt and germs. Inko arrives with a bag for Izuku, so he can stay the rest of the weekend with Eri, as well as a few games and other things for entertainment. Izuku notes that Eri is smart and unable to smile.

Watching the Frozen trilogy (much to Aizawa's consternation), Eri falls asleep gripping Izuku, who uses Guild Chat to talk with the others before falling asleep himself. The next morning, waking up early, he finds a message from Nezu, suggesting that they practice his Psychic Surgery skill later in the day. Eri wakes up from a nightmare and Izuku calms her down, getting her out to have breakfast. Nezu, arriving with more internship informs and to pick up Izuku.

Using pig carcasses as a training tool, Nezu begins to practice surgery while Izuku observes before he turns to his own. Using the skill is a hard task, particularly since the cells are not living, but Izuku manages to practice the removal of organs. After Nezu is done with his carcass, Izuku decides to invite Nezu to the party, showing him The Gamer. Nezu theorizes that the size of the Guild may be to prevent Izuku from inviting too many people that would be out of his circle of trust. Izuku mentions being quite close to being able to buy the skill he needs to copy other skills. As they continue their practice, Nezu reveals he has a secondary target for them to heal: Ingenium, whose injuries have made it impossible for him to run, essentially forcing him to retire.

When they are done, Izuku gets a message from Aizawa, who requests Izuku to pick up things for Eri to have fun with. Visiting the local mall, he is suddenly accosted by Nemoto Shin, a member of the Shie Hassaikai whose Quirk can force people to say the truth. Izuku manages to resist the effect of the Quirk and gives truthful yet uninforming answers while he uses Ki Detection to find the yakuza and call Tsukauchi, who arrests Shin.

Mimic, another member of Shie Hassaikai, informs Overhaul about Shin's arrest. Overhaul decides to go after someone else.

Iguchi Shuichi, also known as Spinner, is "arrested" by Harley and Mindy. Spinner thinks first that they are from the police, but the women reveal they are from the League of Villains, and not only want to recruit him but want his insight on Stain. Harley figures that, Spinner being a fan of Stain, having him on board should help in recruiting the Hero Killer.

The rest of Sunday goes without a problem, and on Monday the students get their internship packages, which they begin to check. During lunch, the 1-A students are joined by Hikari and Kendo, who don't want to be around Monoma, since he has been in a foul mode since learning he was put on probation. Monoma tries to mock 1-A, but he deflates when Hagakure mentions that none in their class is on probation.

That afternoon, the students that were offered internships - which includes all the Hero students, Kongou, Kuroiro, Shinso (who has received an internship offer from Best Jeanist), Hatsume, and other students from the General, Business and Support courses - go to a meeting to learn about internships and what to do. After the meeting, Izuku brings All Might, Cassandra, and Ochako (the latter two after winning against the others in a rock-paper-scissors game) to meet Eri, and the group has fun with the little girl for the afternoon. When they leave, Inko makes a sudden request to be added to the Party: apparently, she has been kidnapped.

Lesson 39

Inko nonchalantly mentions that, while scared, she knows any danger she might actually be in would be rendered null due to Izuku's powers. Izuku, All Might, and Cassandra move in order to triangulate and determine where Inko is being taken to.

Arriving at the destination, Inko finds herself face to face with Overhaul, who Nezu quickly identifies as Chisaki Kai. Overhaul is surprised that an apparent nobody can so easily identify him, and Mimic threatens her with a gun, only for her to rip it out of his hands with her Quirk and put it on a table. When she confirms she doesn't know where Eri is, Overhaul forces her to call Izuku. Having learned part of Overhaul's plans and Eri's role in them, Inko has Izuku pull her into the Dungeon - not without pulling from Overhaul's mask.

When she is brought to U.A., Nezu, All Might and her discuss what to do: since it is obvious their home is compromised, Inko could be installed in the teachers' quarters and do her job remotely, while the heroes work with the police to find and arrest the Shie Hassaikai. Inko produces an analog recorder, mentioning she managed to use it to record her conversation with Overhaul. Nezu is glad they checked her phone, as it contained a tracer.

In the Shie Hassaikai's refuge, the yakuza try to understand how Inko vanished even though her Quirk does not allow for it, and the tracer doesn't work. Another member comes and reports that he's seen U.A. receiving multiple boxes in the past two days, even though the previous day was a Sunday. Overhaul states that they need to leave soon before they are tracked.

Stain is invited to the League of Villains' bar, where Shigaraki pitches in the idea of becoming allies, offering to work together with an attack in Hosu: while the League unleashes several Nomu, this would distract the Heroes enough to let Stain continue maiming or killing other Heroes. Stain agrees to a trial run before leaving. Shigaraki sends Spinner to drive Stheno to find more recruits and shares a drink with Harley, smirking about the idea of making Stain look dependant on the League's assistance.

After a quick round of Heroes vs Villains, All Might brings Izuku aside to talk about his internship: due to all the chaos with Eri, Inko's kidnapping, and having to move to U.A., he's not had much time to check his list. While Izuku begins to consider possible options, he finds an offer from Gran Torino, All Might's second mentor. All Might explains Torino's methods and suggests Izuku consider picking him up as his internship mentor, mentioning that he's extended the offer to two other students. Izuku promises to think it over.

Nezu meets with Inko and extends her a job offer: act as the dorm monitor for the first-year hero students. He wants to turn U.A. into a boarding school, using the proceeds from his business dealings to fund everything. His concerns of security, as well as the possibility of the Shie Hassaikai trying to use any other student to get to Izuku, is pushing him to this. The move won't be happening until after the summer break, though, so there is time yet until it is required. Pending a conversation with Izuku, Inko accepts the offer.

Izuku stays with Eri to check on her and play with her and Recovery Girl. After she falls asleep, Izuku asks Recovery Girl if Eri would be able to heal All Might's injuries. The elder doctor shows him a scar she received a few years before, proof that Eri isn't actually rolling back time. She might be able to do it in the future, but for the moment it doesn't look likely, so they will have to go with Nezu's plan.

The Shie Hassaikai trick a deliverer into stopping her truck so they can put a package in there: a teddy bear with a speaker. Overhaul tricks Eri into thinking they will kill Inko and Izuku if she doesn't let him take her back. Scared, Eri leaves her rooms.

Meanwhile, a police-Pro Hero task force moves to assault Overhaul's possible headquarters.

Izuku takes advantage of his sudden free time to check on Eri, but when he doesn't find her he rushes to ask Recovery Girl, who is also surprised but points out she could be in the bathroom. However, when Izuku activates Ki Detection to find her, he discovers she is already four kilometers away from the school. Izuku warns the Guild about the kidnapping: since he's the only one that has a chance to catch up with the kidnappers, and he cannot invite Eri to his Party, he needs to run if he is to save the girl.

Lesson 40

Eri has actually taken the bus to a park with a rather bad reputation because of its location, and waits for Overhaul to appear when someone calls out her name.

Overhaul, Rappa, and Tengai have been waiting in an internet cafe to check where Eri is through the bear. When she arrives at the park, the three take a car.

Izuku finds Eri, along with the bear, which he Observes to learn Chisaki has modified it to add a custom voice track and a DNA scanner to play the message when the target is alone. When he asks Eri why she left, Eri reveals Chisaki's threats, but Izuku tells her they are empty because Inko was only kidnapped for a couple of hours, he won't be able to touch Izuku and the police and the Heroes are currently raiding Overhaul's bases.

Endeavor leads one of the assaults, mostly because of the accolades he can get for achieving the task of taking down the Shie Hassaikai, as well as planning to steal a sample of Trigger to check if his agency can create a counter agent.
Two other heroes, Hawks and Gojiro, help in detaining the yakuza in the sites they have been sent to.

Izuku detects Chisaki approaching and stands protecting Eri. After a short discussion about their different points of view, Chisaki orders Rappa to attack Izuku, who manages to parry the yakuza's punch and counter with a Hogwarts Smash that sends the man flying. Rappa is clearly itching for a fight, but Chisaki has Tengai surround Izuku and Eri with barriers in such a way that it cuts off all the oxygen, clearly willing to wait for him to be knocked out from lack of oxygen. Izuku notes that the barriers are stronger than the ones Tengai used in their previous meeting and decides to use different attacks to bring them down, but before he does a van arrives - carrying a furious Mikoto ready to shoot her Railgun.

Nezu gives instructions to the seven Knights coming to help Izuku and Eri, warning them against ignoring orders, and gives Mikoto a case with special ammunition for her Railgun.

Mikoto's extra-powerful Railgun brings down two barriers and severely cracks the third, allowing Izuku to punch out the last one as Hadou Nejire leads Tsuyu, Cassandra, Ami, Ochako, Momo, Mikoto, and Kyoka to help Izuku.

Lesson 41

As the rescue team prepares to leave U.A., Nejire tells Mikoto to take the front seat so she can use her Quirk to make the van they are using turn faster, and lays out the rules: their only objective is helping Izuku and Eri escape, so no fighting unless necessary.

Izuku notes the girls are all wearing their suits and wishes he could have brought his own, as well as the fact that Nejire's is different from the usual, which he attributes to Inko's work. Tengai creates a barrier around himself, Overhaul, and Rappa, but Kyoka quickly brings it down by finding its resonance frequency. Overhaul tells Rappa to act, and the large yakuza attacks the group's van, sending it flying across the street, but his distraction is enough for Cassandra and Tsuyu to quickly attack him. Izuku asks Momo and Ochako to take care of Eri for a moment while he talks with Overhaul: when the Knights ask why he points out that Overhaul or Tengai could block most of their attacks, and those they can't could be lethal, so he needs to get close.

Overhaul, seeing this, creates three spikes, aimed at Izuku, Ami, and Momo, who manage to avert them all. Izuku charges, ready to punch him, but Overhaul catches the punch - only to be surprised when Izuku's TK Armor prevents him from actually touching him. Izuku grabs his hand and crushes it. Overhaul tries to ask for Tengai's help, but Izuku grabs his other arm and forcibly pulls him away from the ground, punching him away with a Hogwarts Smash into an empty building and following before Nejire can warn him to wait.

In one of the Shie Hassaikai bases, currently being attacked by Endeavor's team, Sakaki Deidoro, who has a Quirk that lets him project illusions, takes a dose of Trigger (a drug that dangerously boosts a Quirk) and projects his Quirk on everyone downstairs - which includes Endeavor, who suddenly decides to sit down and declares his intention to retire from heroics to write romantic comedies. Deidoro attempts to take advantage of it to kill him, but he pushes his berserk button-down and Endeavor manages to shake off the illusion, hurting Deidoro enough to make him break his concentration and stop him from continuing to use his Quirk.

All Might advances with the police in their raid when one of them is almost killed by a crystal axe, thrown by Hojo Yu, another member of the Shie Hassaikai who has also taken Trigger. All Might takes on him, angrily asking him if he knew what Overhaul was doing to Eri. When Hojo states he doesn't know Overhaul's plans, All Might points out that Overhaul was torturing a little girl and punches him hard enough to break a few bones and knock him out. Present Mic requests All Might's help.

Cassandra and Tsuyu are fighting Rappa, who, despite his lack of actual skill, is tough and powerful enough that the two girls are on the defensive. Cassandra distracts him long enough to give Tsuyu time to produce some of her paralyzing oil and put it on Rappa's arm: the yakuza manages to resist the oil's effects, but his left arm is left unresponsive. Rappa angrily swings his left arm to hit Tsuyu, who is sent flying. Ami quickly sends three water spears at him and Cassandra drives a tonfa into his kidney, but Rappa is still able to hit Cassandra.

Tatsuma Ryuko, also known as Ryukyu, and Eraserhead are fighting two of Overhaul's captains, Mimic (who is transformed into a bronze tiger statue) and Chronostasis, and they are having problems due to how both of them can counter or nullify the heroes' attacks. Eraserhead tells Ryukyu to change into her dragon form at his signal: when he does, their actions lead to Mimic being launched at Chronostasis in such a way that the former is affected by the latter's Quirk, giving Eraserhead the time he needs to capture Mimic.
At the site raided by the team lead by Endeavor, the yakuza have surrendered and the police are starting to take the evidence away. Endeavor stops two policemen who are carrying a case of Trigger and palms two samples of the drug before the case is taken. However, trouble surges when the heroes find two dead policemen - one of them identical to one of the two that were carrying that case of Trigger. The "policemen" were actually Harley and Toga Himiko, who have taken advantage of the chaos to steal some Trigger for the League of Villains. Toga is officially welcomed into the League.

At U.A., Mordred (also known as Modura) wonders why her classmates and Nejire were running with their costumes on, before walking up to Nezu's office. Nezu welcomes her, and she asks for information on one of the agencies that sent her an offer: the Torino agency.

Ami keeps watching on the fights going around her, paying attention to how Tengai is using his shields in a way that prevents Kyoka from quickly breaking them. Ami suggests Nejire change how she projects her energy so it spirals in like a drill: this works and tears through one of the barriers.

All Might comes to the aid of Present Mic and Advisory, who have lost their main support items to a Shie Hassaikai who can steal things from a distance, leaving them less capable of fighting, as Present Mic tries to hold off another yakuza who can steal other people's stamina to become stronger. All Might blasts a Detroit Smash that nearly hits the bigger yakuza, Katsukame Rikiya, who taunts All Might with his miss - only for the attack to have been actually on point, because it collapses a wall on one of the other yakuza, letting Present Mic and Advisory to tag-team the last yakuza and opening a hole in the wall that the hero Godzillo can reach through to grab Katsukame. The three yakuza surrender.

The teams report on their successes, as well as the worrying problem of the murdered policemen and the missing Overhaul. Nezu orders everyone to regroup on U.A., knowing that Izuku, Nejire, and the Knights are on their own.

The fight at the park comes to a lull when a shadowy figure, carrying Overhaul's plague mask, appears from the garage.

Lesson 42

Izuku continues attacking Overhaul, driving to keep him away from his friends so he cannot hurt them. Izuku uses his TK armor and skill to keep the villain at bay and strike him multiple times, forcing Overhaul to continue using his Quirk to heal himself. Overhaul manages to use the rebar on the ground to distract Izuku while he turns a nearby car into armor, using the car's fuel tank as an improvised bomb. However, Izuku is barely affected by the explosion and easily tears through the armor, forcing Overhaul to drop it - and giving him time to implement his plan: he disbands his party, invites Overhaul into his party, tricks him to try to punch him right through the 'Accept' button, creates a Dungeon based on Eri's bandages, which create a dirty, rotting hospital full of zombies - and manages to leave Overhaul inside, only to briefly return to steal his mask. As he appears back on the street, Tengai and Rappa decide to escape after seeing their boss captured.

Back at U.A., while the Knights take care of Eri, Izuku meets with Nezu and All Might, presenting them the bandages where Overhaul is now trapped: since Izuku doesn't have the talent required to open all dungeon levels, Overhaul will be unable to escape, since the only other way out is with Izuku. Nezu explains his plan for Overhaul, and Izuku gives him the bandage, before requesting their help with something.

At the apartment, Eri tries to apologize for what she did, but Izuku tells her that he is not angry with her and tells her he has a present for her: Mikoto fixes Overhaul's plague mask over a slab of wood and Inko gives Eri a small sledgehammer, with the group encouraging her to destroy it in order to help her get through the trauma Overhaul caused to her. Starting timidly, by the end of it she's sobbing in relief, and when she finishes rendering the mask into pieces she drops the hammer and hugs Izuku. The slab and the mask are burned to ashes and spread into the wind with Present Mic's help, and Eri gives a small smile.

Rappa and Tengai argue, with the former accurately pointing out that the only explanation for all that just happened is that Izuku did manage to wipe the floor with Overhaul, so the best thing they can do is to return to base. However, when they call to the rest of the organization they learn of the raid that has led to the arrest of pretty much everyone loyal to Chisaki, and the rest are not keen on continuing with Overhaul's plans, so they are going to send everything they have on him to the police while they help their actual boss recover, warning Rappa and Tengai that, if they see them, they will shoot them. The call cuts off, but suddenly a portal swallows both men and puts a block of explosives in the car, causing an explosion that destroys it.

Tsukauchi reports on his investigation of the "accident" that seems to have killed Rappa and Tengai. The police commandant agrees with Tsukauchi's suspicions, and tells them that some of the evidence they found has to be destroyed because if anything about it were to get to the villains, they would probably go to war for the sake of capturing Eri - and, in fact, everyone that has learned about it is to be subjected to memory erasure to prevent leaks.

Rappa and Tengai find themselves forcibly recruited into the League of Villains.

Inko and Izuku meet with Nezu, and Inko accepts his previous offer to work as dorm monitor, as long as they can keep Eri with them and have the option to adopt her. Nezu accepts the conditions.

Seventeen years after the current events, Overhaul finally manages to finish the bandage dungeon, only to find himself floating in a cubical room. His appearance triggers a message from Nezu, who, after congratulating him for finally escaping, warns him that he is trapped in a module that, depending on how long it took him to escape, could be in the void or on Venus, and lays out the conditions of his imprisonment: the prison is self-cleaning to prevent failures. If he tries to use his Quirk on the prison, the module will be ejected and the air evacuated. All the waste is collected in a tank. And the module only has enough food and water for one week - so Overhaul will have to decide between transforming his own waste into food and water or dying.

    Internship Arc (Lessons 43-)

Lesson 43

Izuku, Inko, and Recovery Girl have dinner with Eri. The three tell the little girl that they are not angry with her, knowing that part of the reason she left was because she didn't know what actually happened, but warn her that she shouldn't try that anymore. After a short memory detour about Nezu and Izuku discovering Eri's stealth skills, Inko offers Eri to adopt her, and she accepts. Izuku tells Eri about the internship offers, and Eri replies that, while she wants to be close to him, she also wants him to be the best hero.

Izuku picks Gran Torino for his internship, which Cassandra also chose. The conversation turns to Overhaul and his trial, which will be going forward under the provision of a law that allows for trial in absentia of people with dangerous Quirks.
Back to school, Momo and Itsuka, who had originally planned to intern with Uwabami, decide to look for someone else after learning that the Snake Hero would likely keep them working with her on her modeling job. Izuku suggests Momo to pick a company that employs the retired Pro Hero Cyclotron, who can create chemicals in a similar way to Momo. Power Loader arrives, and after confirming the potential for her, tells Izuku that Eri has been moved to his family's rooms in U.A.

After that day's classes end, Izuku meets alone with Modura and Tooru and offers them to join his special study group: he wants to help Tooru become stronger so she can offset the weaknesses of her Quirk. However, he wants to make sure neither of them will try to tell about it to other people, so he gives them the night to consider it. Both girls seem intent on joining, though.
The next day, Midnight meets 1-A for an important task: choosing their Hero names. Izuku tries to come up with one idea while the others present theirs: several are rejected for various reasons (mostly for copyright reasons or being rip-offs of fictional characters) while others are accepted, either as presented or after being modified. Izuku ends up choosing Ten Years to a Hero: Decade, as a reference to Deku and the ten years between learning he was Quirkless and getting his power. Modura has trouble making a choice, but Midnight encourages her to pick her stepfather's Hero name in his honor.

Meeting at Nezu's office, Modura and Tooru tell Izuku (and Kyoka) that they want to join in, and Izuku invites the two girls into the Guild - but, surprisingly, Modura does not get the invitation. Modura reveals that her true name is Mordred Pendragon, which her father changed after moving to Japan. Izuku invites her using her birth name, and Modura accepts, but Tooru balks. However, when Izuku tells her that Inko is also part of the Guild, Tooru accepts.

Izuku then invites the two girls, Kyoka and Inko into a party to do a Dungeon run along with Nezu. Inko gives the three girls a set of workout clothes, and the group leaves Izuku alone with Tooru so he can explain how he accidentally saw her naked through Clairvoyance. Much to his surprise, Tooru concentrates on wanting to know his opinion of her, and he reassures her that she is beautiful. After Izuku suggests how Advisory might be able to see her, Tooru decides to change her clothes.

The Dungeon turns out to be Inko herself, and the first level is the university she attended. Izuku restrains himself to act as the controller to gain levels in Telepathy and Clairsentience while the others gain experience in fighting. Fighting zombie-like students, the mid-boss is an old teacher of Inko's, who derided her for leaving her studies after getting married to Hisashi and pregnant with Izuku. Inko tells her teacher's avatar that it was all worth it in the end since she now has Izuku and has managed to achieve her target of becoming a designer. The teacher congratulates her and begins the fight.

While the group fends off the teacher's attacks and Izuku does his best to keep the others from getting hurt, Tooru eventually takes off her clothes to sneak behind the teacher, and when that happens everyone attacks her in coordination: Tooru hits her with a chair, but that allows the teacher to locate and hurt her. This, however, keeps the teacher distracted long enough that everyone can hit her and eliminate her, giving them victory.

After eliminating half of the mooks in Inko's dungeon, the adults suggest stopping for the day, and the Knights go to the Midoriyas' apartment in U.A. Izuku presents Eri to the Knights, and she takes well to them. After she goes to bed, the Knights reunite, and All Might reveals his secret to the ones who didn't know yet. Nezu mentions the plans to heal All Might's injuries, which should take place at the beginning of summer, and asks Momo and Ami if they want to help since their skills would be valuable. The two girls ask for some time before committing, particularly Momo, who has been asked to go to I-Island around the same time to help in the I-Island Expo.

The issue of the Hero names comes up, and Kyoka suggests that Inko should have her own Hero name as well: after some work, Inko accepts "Guild Mom" as her name. With internships approaching, Izuku suggests doing the first level of each of the Knights' personal dungeons, which The Gamer agrees with by starting the Quest Ready to Roll, granting several bonus feats for Izuku and skills for everyone if this is achieved before the day internships begin. The group agrees, and they all take lots to see who goes to which dungeon.

After the Knights go back home, Izuku reviews his growth and gets several talents to account for his skills - and achieves Skill Jockey, the skill he needs to copy medical knowledge for the procedure.

Lesson 44

Waking up, Izuku finds Eri already awake in the kitchen. The two have breakfast while Izuku explains to her his plans for the day, but he has time before he has to leave to meet Nezu, so Eri asks if they can read one of his books - the book on magic Izuku found before the USJ incident, in fact. Izuku reads it aloud for Eri (since it's written in English) before the time comes to leave.

Nezu shows him two turkeys he bought, both for practicing skills and for lunch, but this time he has a different plan: while Izuku will work on one first, Nezu wants to ask questions about Skill Jockey in preparation for the second. Izuku manages to do his work on the turkey, and while Nezu reviews the result, Izuku explains Skill Jockey: the skill allows him to either lend his skills to someone or borrow skills from a person. However, there are limits: he can only do it one way, and on one person at a time, although at level 20 he can lend two skills at the same time. The loaner cannot use the loaned skill while it is being used by the other, and the experience gained from it is reduced to one-third for each person, but the experience is only gained if the person fulfills the requirements for getting the skill in the first place. Nezu suggests that Izuku use Skill Jockey to loan skills to the Knights during the Ready to Roll Quest since it would allow him to strengthen them and grant the Knights new skills.

Izuku loans Clairvoyance and Psychic Surgery to Nezu, who begins to work on the second turkey, doing so quicker than Izuku due to his experience and knowledge. Since it's early yet, Nezu asks Izuku if they can try surgery with another patient, this time an injured kitten named Skits. This time, Izuku loans him Ki Diagnosis and Psychic Surgery. Nezu manages to heal the kitten, and brings Izuku into the conversation: while using Psychic Surgery to regrow lost tissue, Nezu almost gave the kitten cancer several times, so he wonders if Izuku could exchange the points invested in Psychic Surgery into another skill, but Izuku replies that he cannot, at least right now, so Nezu requests him not to use it unless necessary. The other point of the conversation is that Nezu wants to heal Ingenium before the internships begin: for once, it would boost morale, which has been slowly declining since Stain's attack on Ingenium and the rumors of All Might's declining power; the second reason is that the longer they wait to do it, the more Tensei's body will be accustomed to his injuries, which would extend his rehabilitation, and the third reason is that he believes Tenya requested internship in Hosu to go after Stain, so Ingenium being healed may be enough to deter Tenya from doing it. The two decide to meet again on Wednesday to address this.

Izuku meets the Knights he'll be working with for the day at his old apartment, packing up his things while waiting for them all to arrive. Izuku suggests testing Nezu's idea, which the girls agree to. He does, however, ask Tsuyu to exchange her turn with Skill Jockey with Tooru, as he wants to give her Clairvoyance so she can see herself. Tooru is overwhelmed with the idea, but everyone agrees it is time.

Izuku invites Tsuyu, Ochako, Tooru, Cassandra, and Kyoka to the party, which goes into Tsuyu's Dungeon, which takes the appearance of her old school suspended on lilypads over a large pond. Going to Tsuyu's classroom, they soon learn that their main quest is to help escort an avatar of Mongoose Habuko, Tsuyu's old friend, to the nurse's office, while keeping her health bar above half. On the way, they have to fight several sub-bosses, which take the form of the people that bullied Tsuyu at school: one of them, a girl who can charm other girls, surrenders after Izuku traps her, but the others take effort, particularly a girl that can make hammers show up in her hand by touching her back.

The quest completed as the group witnesses how Tsuyu became friends with Habuko, the school's loudspeaker summons Tsuyu to the gym, where the boss awaits: a hydra-like monster with the heads of the bullies they have fought, as well as that of Tsuyu's old sports teacher, who was as much a bully as the others. Izuku hashes out a plan: while he and Tsuyu keep the heads distracted, the others will attack the creature's body. The group manages to beat the boss down in ten minutes, finishing Tsuyu's Dungeon's first level and allowing her to boost her Quirk and empower her wall climbing skill.

After resting for a while and dividing the loot, Izuku invites Cassandra, Ami, Momo, and Modura for their run into Cassandra's Dungeon, which resembles Gotham, and Izuku borrows Cassandra's Krav Maga skills. The group fights several ninjas on the way to Wayne Tower's rooftop, where they encounter an avatar of Sandra Wu-san, better known as Lady Shiva, who turns out to be Cassandra's birth mother. The avatar explains that she made a deal with Cassandra's father that he would send Cassandra to her when she became nineteen. When Lady Shiva states she will fight Cassandra to test her, the others intervene, and Izuku suggests making the fight a normal martial arts contest. Lady Shiva agrees, but the price is the group losing any loot and bonuses they would have gained from defeating her if Cassandra loses. Cassandra agrees to the conditions but loses after a tight combat. Still, Cassandra's Dungeon's first level is cleared. The Knights split to return to their own homes, and Izuku encounters Eri when he arrives to his room, hugging her and telling her he's had a good day.

Lesson 45

The students undergo a lesson on behaviour for preparation of their internships before returning to Izuku's home, so they can continue with Ready to Roll. Ochako states she wants to borrow a fighting style, as she's interning with Gunhead and wants to learn the basics, since she feels she's the weakest of the Knights.

The Knights begin with Ami's dungeon, which looks like the hospital where her mother works, and the team gets the Quest Defense of the Patients, which requires them to protect the nurse and patient NPCs from the enemies. After Ami gets Parkour from Izuku, the Knights initiate the quest to understand how to better do the quest and plan out a thorough defense: blocking several of the doors, they can reduce the input of invaders, making it easier for them to protect the NPCs, while Tsuyu hangs over one of the free doors and drips paralysis oil on the invaders.

The plan is successful, allowing the team to clear out the first door with ease. Turning to the next door, they eventually encounter the first mid-boss, a man called "N", who manages to paralyze Izuku by stabbing his shadow, but it is not enough to prevent the Knights from beating him until he becomes another patient when his health drops enough. The same happens with the next mid-boss, "J", and eventually the Knights clear the enemies.

When this happens, the boss appears: Beryl Metaria, the hospital's administrator, who has a Quirk that lets her grow her bones and control other people's bones. After a long struggle where Tsuyu gets gravely hurt, Izuku manages to grab onto Beryl's swords, opening to a combined attack between the other Knights that reduces her to zero. When this happens, Beryl apologizes to Ami's mother for her behaviour and leaves the hospital, turning to dust. As a reward, the Knights get several potions, and Amy gets two talents, one to improve her first aid skills and another to reduce how fast water or ice she controls transfers heat.

Ochako's dungeon (an incomplete skyscraper where the enemies are reflecting Ochako's parents' struggles with their company) is quickly cleared out by the Knights. Ochako gets a talent to boost her Quirk and another that lets her reduce damage she suffers from electricity-based attacks.

With the end of the day, the girls leave, but Izuku asks Ami to stay behind. Ami thinks he wants to ask about using her potion (a Panacea that can heal all natural status ailments) with All Might, but Izuku replies that All Might's sickness is unlikely to be healed with the Panacea, at least as he is now. The actual reason why he wanted to talk with her is that he wants to ask her out. Ami agrees, but brings up the other girls and the chance that they could end up in a polyamorous relationship. Izuku agrees he could end with the other girls, but right now he is not sure if it will happen. After escorting Ami to the train station, Izuku returns to U.A.

Lesson 46

All Might brings Modura, Cassandra and Izuku to his office so he can tell them about Gran Torino: a veteran Hero that has traveled across the world, he's fought alongside many heroes, even the Rhode Island Seven and Captain Korea to fight the Heads of Tiamat. Izuku brings up Torino's nickname in the Flash's memoirs, and All Might begs him never to use it in the elder Hero's presence. Since he's pretty much retired, it is a surprise that he requested for the three of them to intern with him, but All Might has his suspicions as to why, and relays some of the training he did when Torino was his mentor.

The Knights meet at Izuku's apartment, and Izuku first checks if everyone is well-rested. Gamer's Body and the ability Izuku has of sharing it with anyone sleeping close enough is brought up, and Izuku suggests that they can try to test it when they can turn the Pencil into a Guild Hall.

They do Momo's Dungeon first, and this Dungeon resembles a sort-of factory that creates mooks and is building up the boss. Knowing that they must run fast if they want to defeat this boss before it gets too strong, Mikoto has a plan: Momo creates several explosives Mikoto can activate from a distance, and Cassandra and Toru can sneak them in, so that, when the boss gets built, the explosives can be activated, and in the meantime the other Knights can whittle down the other enemies. This plan, much to Toru's and Izuku's embarrassment, requires the former to take off her clothes while the latter uses Clairvoyance to guide her, but Momo points out that they need to become desensitized to exposure for their future work as Heroes. Toru agrees and takes off her tracksuit - but then Cassandra reminds them that Izuku can use his Inventory to put on and take off Toru's clothes at will.

Momo having taken the martial art Wing Chun Quan and Telekinesis as her Skill Jockey skills, Cassandra and Toru set off for their targets with Izuku as their guide, while Mikoto, Momo and Ochako deal with the enemies. Toru runs into a problem when she realizes one of the mid-bosses could see her even if she runs naked, so Izuku sends her a robot leg she uses to jam a conveyor belt, distracting the mid-boss and letting her plant the first bomb.

Meanwhile, Cassandra moves for her target, using several shuriken to destroy a group of mooks, leveling up in the process. With the mid-boss at her section distracted, Cassandra runs to the assembly line, wrecks more mooks and plants several more bombs. Using a distraction, she ensures the mid-boss thinks she's only trying to destroy mooks, and she returns to the others.

After the sabotage is carried out, the Knights quickly deal with the factories and mid-bosses, leaving just a few mooks and the boss, a large robot with an incredibly large amount of health and power. Mikoto activates the explosives, and after a few seconds, a huge explosion rips into the robot: while it is still alive, it has lost a lot of health and power, as well as being severely affected. Mikoto takes one of the robot's lost arms and, with Toru and Ochako's help, she studies it so she can find how to use its weapons against the robot, while Cassandra, Izuku, and Momo attack the robot.

The robot attempts to fire the missiles from its only working arm, but the damage is too widespread to allow it to fire correctly. Cassandra runs up to the robot's torso and manages to rip off part of its armor, although her tonfa gets damaged in the process. Toru switches to Cassandra and has Izuku strip her. While Momo uses the opening to attack it with a cattle prod, Toru picks up the armor pieces and jams one of the robot's foot treads.

The Knights huddle, and the robot attempts to attack again, but the rockets fail to do anything and Mikoto fires the robot arm she's been working with. The attack causes it to lose a lot of health and most of its power, although Izuku has to throw the arm away before it explodes. Nonetheless, the robot is nearly done for, and the Knights finish it off.

After a short break, the teams change and the Knights go into Mikoto's Dungeon, which is similar to her old high school, Tokiwadai High - and their tracksuits change to reflect Tokiwadai's uniform, even Izuku's. However, before they enter, they have to fight several enemies that look like thugs Mikoto had to deal with during her time at Tokiwadai. The boss appears, bearing the appearance of Mikoto's dorm supervisor. Mikoto is terrified, but Ami manages to convince the supervisor that Mikoto has already graduated - upon which moment the uniforms return to normal, and the supervisor returns to the school, finishing Mikoto's Dungeon.

Returning to Izuku's apartment, the six that went into the Dungeon meet the others as they inspect Cassandra's damaged tonfa. Using a special duct tape, Izuku manages to fix the tonfa. Modura asks about buying some, but blanches when she learns it costs 50,000 yen.

That night, after Eri goes to sleep, Nezu calls Izuku, and suggests him a special plan for the next Friday, which Izuku agrees with on the provision that the Knights have managed to clear out all the Dungeons. Nezu accepts, and tells Izuku that the Cupid probe that will launch the bandages that keep Overhaul imprisoned will blast off soon.

Lesson 47

The Knights enter Kyoka's dungeon, which, to their surprise, is a replica of Shibuya's Tower Records, where Kyoka lives with her parents. After a discussion on Hero theme music, they learn that there do seem to be no enemies. An inspection of the street floor record store leads to a treasure chest, which Tsuyu tries to grab with her tongue – only for the Dungeon to change when she makes the attempt, turning into a maze. It becomes obvious that this Dungeon will require less fighting and more use of their wits.

Izuku's request for caution goes unheeded, and Kyoka quickly falls into a trap, as the floor opens under her. The rest of the team follows, and they find themselves in the performance hall at the basement, where they encounter a Siren. The Siren challenges the Knights to correctly guess at least half of ten songs she will sing, with more guesses granting extras, but warns them that every time they fall it will be harder, and if they fail a test they won't be able to do Kyoka's dungeon for a day. The Knights manage to guess the ten songs, gaining a prize in the form of money and a biography on Scott Joplin whose copies were all lost or partially destroyed, making it a one of a kind.

Now knowing what they have to deal with, the Knights advance, avoiding all the traps thanks to their combined powers, and getting money and more books from each floor chest. Reaching the bar at the top floor, they meet Mozart, who challenges Kyoka to a musical duel. After an impressive concert that has all teens cheering, Mozart recognizes Kyoka as the winner and bows out, finishing Kyoka's dungeon.

As the Knights rest and prepare for Toru's dungeon, Kyoka announces she has managed to keep High Speed Vision (one of the skills she borrowed from Izuku), while Tsuyu picks Krav Maga and Boxing, seeing to expand her knowledge in other forms of fighting. Izuku starts Toru's dungeon, and it brings them to a place Toru recognizes as the Australian Outback – only with several additions in the form of rollercoasters from different Australian amusement parks.

This triggers a new Quest, Vomit Comets, which challenges the Knights to ride seven of the rollercoasters in 42 minutes without losing their lunches, with the reward being a magic item. After finishing with the normal part of the dungeon, the teens take on the new challenge. While it gets hard for Kyoka and Tsuyu, they eventually triumph (with Izuku getting the Massage skill from helping them deal with their nausea) and they receive their reward: a knucle-duster that is incredibly resistant and durable and, most importantly, able to adapt to any Quirks – even Toru's, as it becomes invisible when she wields it. Izuku, Tsuyu, and Toru then give the multi-tools they got from Kyoka's dungeon to Mikoto, Ami, and Momo, so everyone gets at least one piece of loot.

That night, Eri has a flashback and suffers from night terrors, causing her to subconsciously activate her Quirk. Izuku tries to approach her to calm her down, but his TK armor isn't enough to counter Rewind's effect: while he gets his energy restored, and the effects of Plus Ultra undone, he also suffers a drawback in the form of a negative level. Unable to get closer, Izuku has Inko hug him, and then projects the feeling to Eri, along with a silly cartoon-like image of a bumbling dragon threatening her, only to get scolded by the Knights of the Meta. Eri recovers from her terror, and Izuku takes care of her. The entity behind The Gamer restores Izuku and grants him resistance to time-based attacks – as well as an extra point of Charisma when Izuku argues he would have done it regardless of any reward.

Lesson 48

The next morning, Izuku finds Nezu has sent him a message, requesting for a call. When Izuku returns the call, the principal asks about his current situation, and Izuku explains both the previous day's dungeons and Eri's problems. Nezu cautions Izuku against telling Aizawa (who had arrived shortly after Izuku calmed Eri down) about his power.

After another school day, the Knights meet to finish the Ready to Roll Quest. They begin with Inko's dungeon, which returns them to her old school – where all the remaining zombies have spawned. The Knights discuss strategies, and Izuku comes up with an idea: they attract the zombies to one of the buildings – and bring it down on top of them, killing or trapping most of the creatures, and making it easier for them to deal with the rest.

The dungeon's boss turns out to be Inko – the Inko before Izuku got The Gamer, the one with regrets over her past. Inko slaps her down, stating that while things have not been easy, she doesn't regret anything that has happened in the past year. False Inko transforms into a Fomorian, armed with a giant pan (similar to Inko's), and attempts to kill Ochako, only for Mordred and Izuku to foil the attempt, and when Ochako uses her Quirk on the pan, Inko begins to pull on it. The boss does the same, unknowingly falling into a trap: Kyoka shatters the pan with her power, Inko lets go and Ochako undoes the effect of her Quirk, causing the boss to suddenly attract the large iron pieces towards itself – just as Toru hits her with her knuckle-duster, preventing it from avoiding getting fatally injured, especially as Mordred and Izuku pile on her with their long-range attacks. Inko finishes the boss off before it says something embarrassing.

A quick rest later, the Knights enter Mordred's dungeon – and finds themselves surrounded by an inferno that a horrified Mordred quickly identifies: the Great Fuyuki Fire, where her adoptive father, the hero EMIYA, lost his life. Izuku begins to trigger the Dungeon Exit, only for Mordred to stop him, stating she needs to learn how to deal with such situations. This turns out to be related to the Mandatory Dungeon Quest Alert, Mordred's Inferno, which challenges them to save a large number of the victims and at least two out of the six blazing buildings, in exchange of a reduced price for the Guild Hall, as well as a pool and locker room. With everyone in agreement of trying it, Izuku plots out an idea: while Momo and Toru spray the least damaged buildings to put out their fires, Cassandra, Izuku, Mikoto, and Modura will work on saving people from the other buildings.

When Izuku starts the Quest, the teens spread to do their jobs. Izuku quickly begins warning the people within the building about the fire, rescuing an elder couple and warning three more people: one of the latter runs downstairs, but the others help the couple leave while Izuku continues searching. Just as he's getting a child out, disaster strikes: the building Mordred is dealing with explodes, critically injuring her. Izuku comes to the rescue, finding her and getting her out to safety, healing her with Ki Healing and a potion Toru supplies him. Mikoto suggests dropping out, but Cassandra and Izuku point out that doing so while it is relatively safe will make it harder when it comes to real life. Mikoto agrees, and the Knights manage to finish the Quest.

When Izuku accepts the Quest reward, they become suddenly paralyzed, and find themselves following EMIYA as he enters a burning home, saving its inhabitants at the cost of his own life. After a brief scene where Izuku witnesses two Heroes attempting to enter the building and rescue EMIYA – prevented by Crust, who nearly gets attacked by one of them quickly hug Mordred, who thanks Izuku for letting her see her dad at his truly best.

Lesson 49

Mordred returns home, and briefly sees her dad Shirou before she dispels the memory, leaving her with her Father Saber and aunt Rin. Mordred tells them what happened and offers to tell what share Shirou's last moments.

The day after doing the last dungeons, Ami takes everyone to see Thirteen, who lectures them on how some of their actions (such as drenching themselves in water before entering a burning building) was actually a bad idea. After they are released and Ami shows them a few of her suit's features, Izuku goes to meet with Nezu for their next lesson: doing the dungeon in Skits, the cat Nezu treated in their previous encounters.

Arriving to a savannah-like terrain, principal and student implement their plan: while Izuku acts as a decoy for the large feline mooks and uses his armor and regeneration to avoid getting too hurt, Nezu uses Psychic Surgery and Clairvoyance to defeat the mooks while practicing surgery with the disposable bodies. After a set where Izuku ponders on how killing enemies in a personal Dungeon might be related to personal improvement, they encounter the mid-boss, which has such a low level that Izuku easily kills it in three strikes. Continuing while Izuku trains his dodging skills, the duo soon finishes the dungeon and discuss Skits' stats.

Later, Nezu visits Tensei Iida and offers him a treatment that could fully heal him, and Tensei deduces the source is an UA student. Nezu explains that one of the reasons he wants Tensei to be healed is to reduce the impact of Stain's actions in society, and because of his brother Tenya's appaarent intention to go after Stain. Tensei accepts the offer.

As a way for the two to have fun before the beginning of their internships, Izuku takes Eri to the local movie theater, where it turns out he has managed to get an entire theater for private viewing: the two end up spending a good part of the afternoon there, even having dinner between two movie showings, before they have to leave. Izuku then takes her to the bookshop Ami showed him and lets her look for books while he has a conversation with the bookkeeper.

Returning to U.A., Izuku and Inko take Eri to a gathering with the Knights and some of the teachers, with Nezu teaching Eri how to call for Skits and pet her, which she does for a time, before Nezu reveals the reason behind the gathering: the Cupid probe launches in a few minutes, and within a module is Kai Chisaki, still imprisoned in the Dungeon Izuku put him in. The probe will travel to Venus, in whose orbit it will remain indefinitely.

In an aside scene, Nezu asks a judge for a million mile restraining order against Chisaki, phrasing it as a way to be able to arrest him should he somehow manage to create some sort of rocket that will allow him to return to Earth. The judge is nonplussed, but nonetheless agrees on Nezu's idea and signs the restraining order.

While the girls find a snack Eri can have, the countdown for liftoff takes place. The rocket is successfully launched, finally taking Chisaki away and giving Eri peace of mind.

After Eri is taken to bed, the Knights also leave, but they remain awake, using their Guild Chat to converse before Mikoto brings up that Izuku has to accept the reward for Ready to Roll: everyone ends up getting a new skill that ranges from All Might's Polka to Modura's Motorcycle Riding, the Guild gets 25 million yen further into getting the Guild Hall and Izuku also unlocks Party Leader III (which grants party members an experience boost and lets him set up a secondary party for dungeons where multi-party raiding is required) and Guild Master II (which increases the number of Guild Members by four, lets him appoint a Guild Lieutenant, allows him to offer trial memberships that can become permanent and the option to remove people, and creates the Guild Bank, which allows everyone to see the current state of the Guild's money and gives them access to it to buy potions or fruit).

The group then makes suggestions as to who they could invite to the Guild. Kyoka suggests Todoroki, but Izuku mentions his encounter with him during the Festival. Cassandra suggests Ashido, and Inko brings up Kendo and Shimooka, but Izuku suggests Hatsume, stating that both the Guild and her would greatly benefit from the partnership.

Ochako makes a veiled attempt to hang out with Izuku, but he intentionally diverts it by bringing up the summer training camp and having to go to buy gear and supplies for camping. Tsuyu later asks Izuku about Ochako's question in private, and Izuku admits that he didn't want to reply in front of everyone, particularly since he is not sure about his feelings for Ochako, but he resolves to clear it up as soon as possible.

Lesson 50

Izuku and Nezu, with assistance from Recovery Girl, heal Ingenium's spinal injuries. The hero course students leave for their internships, and Izuku, Mordred, and Cassandra arrive at Gran Torino's agency, where he accuses Izuku of being The Gamer.

Lesson 51 (Part 1)

Gran Torino elaborates on his reasoning as to why Izuku is The Gamer.

Lesson 51 (Part 2)

Izuku, Cassandra, and Mordred venture through the reflective dungeon of one of Mordred's swords. Gran Torino is seen mourning another Gamer he once partnered with in France.

Lesson 52

Ami meets her fellow interns (Inasa Yoarashi from Shiketsu and Mitsuki Kongou) for their student work under the heroine Kasumi Hanada, hero name Misty. After the interns present themselves, Misty, knowing the long travel the students had to take, offers to guide them to the hotel, but Kongou mentions her parents booked a room for her and suggests for Ami to stay with her. Misty agrees.
Itsuka arrives to Hong Kong, where she meets her internship teacher, Master Yang Kei-Ying. Kei-Ying explains that Itsuka's many-times-great-uncle taught his (still-living) grandfather much about martial arts, and he hopes to be able to repay that debt by helping teach Itsuka herself how to refine her skills.
Kyoka and Present Mic arrive to the bungalow in Okinawa where they'll be working during their internship.
Toru and Shimooka Hikari meet their mentor, X-Less, who quickly begins to work with them: Shimooka is there because of the man's Quirk (Laser Eye) and knowledge of photokinetics, while Toru's there partially because X-Less is curious about her invisibility. Toru shows them she can become partially visible thanks to Izuku's advice and mentions a few ideas she had on how to use her distortion powers.
Misty picks up her students, and Ami asks why Yoarashi is with them, as Shiketsu's students usually have their internships in summer. Misty replies that the Hero Association wants to save money and foster better relationships between the schools before reaching their training place. To begin their training, Misty tells Yoarashi to attempt to move Kongou to the other side of a line, but his attempt to push her with his Gale Force Quirk fails when Kongou counters with her own Quirk. In the following discussion, Yoarashi reveals that Shiketsu keeps files on U.A.'s students, much to Ami's annoyance.
Momo meets her mentor, Cyclotron, who shows her several chemical compounds he knows how to use for multiple purposes based on how they are combined, and encourages her to think on similar terms with her object creation.
Hatsume meets her mentor, Hiro Okamura, the hero known as Toymaster, who works for Wayne Tech's Yokohama branch. Okamura shows no reaction to Hatsume's complete disregard for people's names and shows her his version of the drones she has built, making her eager to find more about the man's work.
Inko picks up Eri from her lessons with Recovery Girl, and Eri mentions she's been asking All Might for lessons on how to jump and run. When prompted by Inko, Eri reveals she wants to become stronger so Izuku won't have to protect her forever, so Inko asks Midnight to teach yoga to Eri and her, partially so she can help Eri get comfortable around her sort-of girlfriend.
Gran Torino orders his students to get their costumes on: they are going to take a train to Akihibara, so they can do some real patrolling.

Lesson 53

Gran Torino leads Izuku, Cassandra, and Mordred to take a train to Akihibara so they can walk to Shibuya and experience crime fighting in a relatively safe location. When the train approaches Hoth, Izuku's Sense Hostility skill triggers moments before an acid-spewing Nomu attacks the train. Izuku and Cassandra keep the Nomu away from the passengers, before Gran Torino and Mordred force it on the run - which is when the heroes see that Hosu is in flames.
Gran Torino attempts to keep the students in the train, but Mordred and Cassandra point out that they have experience in both fighting Nomu and finding trapped civilians, so he relents and sends Izuku and Mordred towards the north-east (away from the fire) to stop any crime they find while he and Cassandra go join other heroes in the zone.
Izuku and Mordred stop a woman from raping a man before Izuku uses Ki Detection to find two people, one of them possibly dying. Meanwhile, Torino and Cassandra find Manual and Iida: while the two students make small talk, Torino gathers that most of the Nomus are being contained, but the winged Nomu that attacked the train is still on the loose. Endeavor arrives then, ready to fight the biological creatures.
As Izuku and Mordred follow the sign of the dying person, Izuku notices a strange tingle and uses Party Chat to ask Mordred if she noticed something, but when she doesn't he asks out loud. She seems to be irritated for some reason, so Izuku Analyzes Mordred and finds she's been afflicted with the "Overconfidence" condition.
Several members of the League of Villains meet in a bar, where Kurogiri shows them a new Nomu, which has four Quirks: one that renders it completely undetectable when hiding in the shadows, another that gives him extendable nails sharp enough to cut through steel, a third that suppresses any mental powers within 223 meters and a fourth that causes people to be overconfident enough that they won't be willing to ask for help, no matter what.
Izuku activates his Status alerts and realizes he and Modura have been hit with a mental attack, but Gamer's Mind allows him to resist. Sending a message to Gran Torino, Izuku quickly rushes forward, ahead of Mordred, and finds a gravely injured Native. Izuku uses his powers to start healing the American-born hero, only to get interrupted by Stain, the Hero Killer. Stain attempts to attack Izuku, but before his weapons can hit Mordred blocks them with her own.

Bad Ending

After Izuku is unable to get accepted into U.A.'s Hero Course, he loses The Gamer but keeps most of the power he has gained thanks to it and gets accepted into the General Course. However, any chance of a peaceful life ends when several villains attack the USJ, killing All Might, Eraserhead, and several students, among them Tsuyu.

Three months later, after an insane level of training, Izuku goes after Shigaraki and fights him. The fight ends up in a mutual kill, as Izuku destroys Shigaraki after he uses his Decay Quirk on him. Unfortunately, while he does manage to avenge Tsuyu's death, it does little in the long run, since Shigaraki had lost all value to All for One after All Might's death, and now few heroes can stop All for One from carrying out his plans.

Best Route

Due to Endeavor's machinations, the classes have been divided across genders, with the boys in Class 1-A and the girls in Class 1-B, save for Izuku and Shoto, who join 1-B to round up the numbers. However, Izuku then gets a Mandatory Quest: if he doesn't have a harem of at least 15 girls out of a long list within a year, he will die alone and a virgin. He then discovers that Shoto is a girl, but passing as a boy because Endeavor raised her as such.

When Tsuyu sees the Quest, the two consider what the penalty may actually mean, and Tsuyu points out that it could lead to him actually dying in a year. She suggests that the best way to stop the problem could be to invalidate the "virgin" part by having sex, but multiple coincidences prevent them from actually having sex - and Tsuyu decides that, rather than losing Izuku, she would prefer being part of his harem.

Settings

During the fight with Bakugou, Izuku plays with the settings, enabling the profanity filter and starting the music playlist.

The Other Side

Canon!Izuku asks Momo if she has ever ridden a motorcycle, and mentions that he had a dream where he saw her wearing motorcycle leathers, much to the interest of Kaminari and Mineta. As it turns out, he was dreaming of the fight between him and Katsuki against Gamer!Izuku and his party. Going by the description of the girls, Izuku identifies Ami as Sailor Mercury, while Shoto identifies the fifth girl as Mikoto Misaka from the RailDex series. Katsuki yells at Izuku but is internally terrified because he, too, had the same dream.

My Looney Playthrough

When Shigaraki orders the Nomu to kill anyone who doesn't belong to the League of Villains, the students declare themselves to be part of the League and that the professors are members as well. Shigaraki orders him to kill "the boy with green hair", but before the Nomu can act Izuku breaks a ketchup bottle over his head to give himself brown-red hair, and a relish one to give Shigaraki green hair. Finally, Shigaraki uses Izuku's name, but Izuku tricks Shigaraki into saying he's Midoriya, prompting the Nomu to finally go after Shigaraki, knocking Shigaraki out as he ends up killing the Nomu. Harley calls Izuku "dethpicable" as she is captured.

The Top Finisher's Speech

Izuku makes a speech that has been obviously ripped off Independence Day. While many people cheer, others notice the resemblance and Inko considers suspending Izuku's Netflix account.

The Touch

Izuku asks Hikari if she can make optical illusions with her Quirk, which turns out to be possible. During the Cavalry Battle, Mei turns D-Cube into a robot that looks like Optimus Prime - which begins to fire lasers at the other teams, forcing them Down before it attempts to flirt with Kongou. Izuku complains to Hikari for what she's doing - an illusion of Optimus Prime who "fires" through D-Cube's laser and Mei's Sun Spot Disc, while Izuku provides the voice and special effects. When the battle ends, it turns out that this tactic has Downed all the teams, allowing Izuku's to sweep all the points while the teachers attempt to determine who else passes to the next round.

Gaia hates Endeavor

After the encounter with Endeavor, Izuku gets a special Quest: prove to the public what a vile man Endeavor is within thirty days, with the Guild Hall as a reward. Izuku declines the Quest, but he then gets it again with the offer of a bigger reward, which increases the next time Izuku declines the Quest. Izuku speaks to the entity behind The Gamer, telling them that he is still a first-year hero-in-training while Endeavor holds great power thanks to his Quirk and influence as Number Two Hero and, in spite of being an asshole, he still does a lot of work as a hero. Also, he doesn't feel comfortable with the idea of being bribed to do it. He also points out that The Gamer isn't really providing any evidence of wrongdoing other than "He's an asshole," and while being a jerk isn't great, it's not a crime. The entity rewards him with a point to Determination for "saying no to a Goddess three times" - and quickly offers an alternative: strip Endeavor of his trousers in public, with the Guild Hall as a reward and bonuses for more than 100 witnesses and also getting his boxers. As much as he tries to ignore it, Izuku begins to plan...

Eventually

When Modura reveals her choice of Hero name as "The Three Swords Heroine: Zollo", Midnight shoots it down because she doesn't want the immortal Oda-sensei to raise a fuss about it, even if it doesn't look like he'll finish his series any time soon.

Elsewhere in Japan, All for One enjoys the latest issue of One Piece - having granted immortality to its author just to enjoy the series forever.
