As the battle at USJ winds down, Izuku and All Might think about its repercussions. Meanwhile, the villains slink home to plan their next move.
Tropes:
- Adaptational Early Appearance: Thanks to the additional scene in The Stinger, Stain appears in the anime earlier than he did in the manga.
- Big Damn Heroes:
- Double Subverted with Deku: he attempts to save All Might by smashing Shigaraki, but he and Kurogiri see it coming and prepare to counter. However, All Might later points out Deku did save the day: by forcing them to turn and focus on him, he bought just enough time for back up to arrive.
- Before the Villains can attack again, Iida brings the rest of the school faculty as reinforcements.
- Bloodier and Gorier: Shigaraki getting shot is much more explicit than it was in the manga, showing bullets piercing his hand, one arm and both his legs with blood spurting out and him tumbling down from his wounds.
- Cut Lex Luthor a Check: When Kaminari is taken hostage by a villain with an electric quirk, Jiro attempts to use this to distract him, saying that his quirk is in high demand in the job market. Unfortunately, he sees right through it.
- Gave Up Too Soon: Invoked by All Might. After his fight with Nomu he barely has enough power to keep up his muscular form, so he tries to intimidate villains into leaving. It almost works, as Shigaraki doesn't think they have a chance against him without Nomu, but Kurogiri convinces him otherwise.
- Know When to Fold 'Em: The villains notice when they're outnumbered, and consequently retreat when they see Iida with reinforcements.
- Oh, Crap!: All Might appreciates Kirishima's concern about his friends' well-being, but he's absolutely mortified by the prospect of him coming close enough to see his true form. Fortunately, Cementoss prevents him from doing so.
- Secret-Keeper: Detective Naomasa Tsukauchi is one of the few people that know about All Might's true form, as he drops in on him and Midoriya recovering.
- The Stinger: Following the credits, Midoriya is released from the infirmary and walks home with Uraraka and Iida... and Stain is seen looking out over the city.
