The A-Laws interrogate Marina as to her involvement with Celestial Being during the Azadistan Civil War.
Ribbons contacts the Federation President to provide him with advice from Veda on stopping dissidents. He then thinks to himself that, as an Innovator, he is the only one who can fulfill Aeolia's plan. Regene asks Ribbons why he had Marina arrested after leaving her alone for all of these years. Ribbons explains that she is bait for Setsuna.
Soma and Andrei arrive at the A-Laws prison to interrogate Allelujah. Alleluljah refers to Soma as "Marie" and claims that they were friends back at the super soldier project, but Soma has no idea what he is talking about. She later contacts Sergei to ask if there are any records in the super soldier project about a person named Marie, but he has no idea either. Kati arrives to command the prison's defenses against Celestial Being.
Nena takes her shuttle to the vincinity of the A-Laws prison, gets confirmation that Allelujah and Marina are there, and forwards the information to Wang Liu Mei, who sends it to Ptolemy.
On Ptolemios, Tieria and Feldt are having difficulty adjusting to Lyle being the new Lockon. Setsuna confirms to Saji that the Ptolemy Meisters opposed the Thrones. Saji still blames Celetial Being for ruining his life with their interventions, but stops when Setsuna asks him if he is all right with other people suffering if it means that he can have a normal life.
Ptolemy gets Liu Mei's information on Allelujah and Marina's location. The crew asks Sumeragi to devise a tactical forecast to help rescue Allelujah, but she refuses as she no longer has any faith in her strategies. She relents when Setsuna assures her that no one will blame her if the mission fails. Sumeragi devises a bold plan to rescue Allelujah and Marina and Ptolemy begins descending into Earth's atmosphere.
Ptolemy descends rapidly into the ocean outside the prison, creating a tidal wave that wipes out most of the prison's defenses and halves the particle beam strength of all the mobile suits that got drenched. Tieria and Setsuna head for the prison while Lockon provides fire support. Setsuna disemberks from the 00 Gundam to rescue Allelujah and Marina, while Tieria protects his escape route.
Soma and Andrei encounter Katharon soldiers that have come to rescue their comrades. Andrei holds Katharon off while Soma goes to secure Allelujah. Setsuna frees Allelujah and gives him instructions on where to find his new Gundam, Arios. Setuna then frees Marina.
Allelujah follows Setsuna's instructions. Ptolemy launches Arios, which flies into the wall near Allelujah and opens its cockpit automaticaly. Soma arrives and confronts Allelujah. When Allelujah refers to her as "Marie Parfacy," she has a vision and collapses. However, Andrei arrives, forcing Allelujah to retreat in Arios. He vows that he will come back to save Marie. The four Gundam Meisters escape with Ptolemy under water..
At Katharon's headquarters, Klaus tells Shirin that the operation to save their comrades was a success thanks to Lyle. He tells her that their agents reported that Marina was being held in the prison, but she was taken by Celestial Being before Katharon could rescue her.
Back on Ptolemy, Allelujah reuintes with Tieria and meets Lyle. Setsuna apologizes to Marina for getting her caught up in his affairs. She asks him why he is still fighting. Setsuna answers that it is because fighting is the only thing he can do. Marina starts to cry because Setsuna can't.
