- And I Must Scream: Apparently, having all the color drained out of you as a Mixel once you're in a monochrome setting can automatically put you in a zombie-like state, and you can't do anything about it.
- Darker and Edgier: This episode, which has Major Nixel having a Near-Villain Victory because he managed to nix the Mixels, except for the Series 1 and 2 leaders (Gobba went instead of Jawg with them), and the Nixels manage to overhear about Mixel Mountain and manage to block out the giant Rainbow Cubit on it, but the Mixels that weren't nixed manage to hit the Rainbow Cubit from underneath and defeat the Nixels. Oh, and the real face of Mixel Mountain.
