- Armed with Pepper Spray: Mami Bibir explains that she brings pepper spray in her bag for this purpose. She carries a lot of money every night and needs something to defend herself. It eventually gets put into a good use when everyone wants to capture a con man.
- Beware the Quiet Ones: Lampshaded by the episode title and the characters. Alan and Prima comments that an angry Bambang is rather scary and are openly scared of him the next day. Downplayed as Bambang normally talks pretty often, he is just relatively calm compared to his friends.
- Continuity Nod: When discussing Bambang's recent anger, Adul reminds everyone that this is not the first time Bambang is angry: remember when Alan kind-of stole Bambang's money?
- Dramatic Irony: The audience know from the start that Bambang is wielding a sickle and wearing fake-tattoo sleeves because he is working as a grass cutter. But since Bambang has been in a bad mood since the episode's start, the other characters are worried that he is plotting to kill someone or that he has joined a criminal gang.

- Similar Item Confusion: When Alan works as Mami Bibir's assistant, Mami Bibir orders Alan to spray her face with a face mist. The thing is Mami Bibir has multiple spray bottles in her bag. When Alan takes one of them and sprays it in her face, it turns out to be pepper spray.
