In order to spend the time before grill dinner at the Murphys, Zack suggests him, Milo and Melissa could play a board game. However, Milo reveals he never finished a board game before, due to Murphy's Law constantly ruining it. They decide to go for it anyway, and pick a board game based on Lard World (since it's the most intact board game Milo has), determined to finish it, even if they have to make their own rules.
Tropes:
- Animal Athlete Loophole: While several species of mammal are prohibited from playing the Lard World board game, luckily for Diogee dogs aren't on that list.
- Anthropomorphic Food: The "deadly vortex" turns out to be a portal to the dimension of the "spaghetti people".
- Serious Business: Since Milo's bad luck has prevented him from ever finishing a board game, he and his friends and family become devoted to finishing the game.
- So What Do We Do Now?: Towards the end of the episode, Milo and Co. are sucked into a "deadly" vortex, which really just sends them to another dimension, but the group is happy that Milo finished his first board game. The final scene has Milo asking how they'll get home.
