Kimberly's mother just got engaged to a French painter! Good news for her, but bad for Kim. Her concerns over the thought of having to move to Paris, away from her friends and teammates, gives her nightmares, where the fiance takes the form of a whacked-out mole, as featured in his latest painting. Rita and Zedd exploit her subconscious and have Finster make the Artisimole monster a reality! Can she face her fears and help put a stop to this monsterpiece? Meanwhile, Bulk and Skull are given their first task as Junior Police Officers, guarding the fiance's painting, which suddenly disappears!

- Fat Bastard: Rocky goes so far as to tell Kimberly to aim for Artisimole's stomach, the part of him she can't possibly miss.
- Foreshadowing: Kimberly worries about leaving Angel Grove and her duties as a Power Rangers in this episode. Later in the season, there's a story arc featuring her departure.
- Hybrid Monster: Artisimole seems to be a combination of Kimberly's mother's fiancé and one of his paintings.
- Kick the Dog: Artisimole is created out of Kimberly's nightmares that are the result of her mother remarrying. Clearly a low blow on Zedd's part.
- Never My Fault: As usual, Zedd furiously blames Rita for the failure of their of their plan while she tries to defend herself.
