Max finds out a Mad Scientist is planning to use his army of giant mutant scorpions to help him nuke society off the map.
Tropes:
- Big Creepy-Crawlies: Dr. Bob's radiation-enlarged army of scorpions.
- Radiation-Immune Mutants: Norman's been exposed to so much radiation that by the end of the episode he's actually glowing green. This is never brought up again, even though Mighty Max is one show where Status Quo is not God.
- Scary Scorpions: Bob's horde of car-sized arachnid pets, of course.
