No one goes hunting for a Dead Man

Dethklok books a gig in Syria...unaware that they were already scheduled to play in Israel which could potentially start World War III.

This episode contains examples of

  • A Day in the Limelight: Charles gets a particular amount of focus not only in how the main plot deals with his relationship with Dethklok, but also shows the Tribunal discussing the events of the last season finale and speculating that he might be up to something.
  • Call-Back: We get our variation of "that's my bread and butter you're fucking with" that's become a bit of a calling card for season finales.
  • Fan Disservice: Murderface on the toilet especially if you have an uncensored copy that doesn't even blur out his penis.
  • Nightmare Face: Salacia when we flashback to the incident in the Season 2 finale from Charles's perspective.
  • Not So Stoic: The Israel-Syria fiasco leads to one of the few times Offdensen is genuinely angry at Dethklok.
    • Charles showing fear during the flashback scene when he saw Salacia mind control Crozier, actually looking like he's going to scream in terror.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: As mentioned above, Offdensen is rarely, if ever, angry at Dethklok for anything (at times just mildly annoyed). But here, even the usually idiotic band notices they screwed up when Charles questions them in a very pissed tone over the booked gig in Syria.
Charles: Did you...book a gig...in Syria...without telling me. (small noticeable eye twitch)
  • Serious Business: Either get a country to reschedule a concert or World War III happens.
  • Skewed Priorities: Played for Laughs as Offdensen is concerned about World War III since nuclear war could hurt record sales.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Charles of all people gives Dethklok one when they once again screw up when he tries to explain his plan to stop the impending war with Syria and Israel to the Klokateers.
Charles: Go away! The five of you are the cause of all of this! I want you out of my sight, now! Go! Go!
Nathan: (genuinely hurt) ...But what about-I thought we were hanging out-
    Charles: GET OUT OF HERE!
  • Tranquil Fury: While this episode did give us some of the rare moments where Charles raises his voice, his initial reaction to the band booking the Syria give is ice cold but still very much pissed off. Murderface's reaction lampshades that he is screaming at them without raising his voice.
  • Was Too Hard On Them: Charles after the band runs away in response to how coldly he's been treating them as a result of the Israel-Syria incident.
  • When You Coming Home, Dad?: The plot is essentially a Does This Remind You of Anything? type of metaphor for this with Dethklok and Offdensen.
