After Mega Man saves some boys from Beastized viruses while they're fishing, Lan finds hospitality in a village. Good thing too, since Mega Man has been hearing Trill's voice.
- Double-Edged Buff: Cross Fusion in Beyondard turns out to be this as it causes the operator pain with Lan commenting it feels like his body is falling apart. He's barely conscious when it ends.
- Earn Your Happy Ending: Lan and Mega Man reunite with Trill at the end of the episode as the good luck charm Mick picked up was Iris' touch pen.
- Mythology Gag: Two of the village kids look like the classmate NPCs from Battle Network 6.
- Roaring Rampage of Revenge: While Pat's a kind woman if not a bit no-nonsense, she doesn't take kindly to Beastized viruses intruding the village and briefly loses her cool which doesn't go unnoticed by Lan. She goes off the deep end when she recognizes Zoan Whale Man from the scar Slash Man left behind as is able to identify him as the Zoanoroid who attacked the ship she used to work on and murdered everyone else aboard and decides to finish the job.
- Ship Tease: Two of the girls taunt Mick for how well Lan is getting along with Pat knowing he has a crush on her.
