When King Snugglemagne finds out that the citizens of Pure Heart Valley love the sheriffs more than him, he decides to join the sheriffs’ department in order to have some of the attention they get. However, his time as a member causes more trouble than what it’s worth, so Mao Mao and company try to get rid of him.
This episode contains examples of:
- Cooking Duel: King Snugglemagne and Boss Hosstrich engage in a "manners duel"; the one who is most polite wins.
- Delayed Reaction: It takes quite a while for the main trio to notice that King Snugglemagne is sitting on their sofa.
- Drives Like Crazy: Slim Pigguns runs over Mao Mao, Badgerclops, Adorabat, and Penny and Benny without watching where he's going. Wondering what he ran over, he reverses and runs them over again, then he quickly drives away.
- Mundane Made Awesome: The manners duel turns out to be quite exciting, especially with Badgerclops' commentary.
- Politeness Judo: Done quite literally in the manners duel, as Snugglemagne and Hosstrich flip each other while shaking hands.
- Puddle-Covering Chivalry: The final round of the manners duel consists of this, with the last to step over the coat winning. King Snugglemagne leaps over the puddle instead.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Mao Mao calls out Snugglemagne for having never worked a day in his life, and being too naive to handle law enforcement. The point is driven home when the rest of the sweetie-pies all agree with Mao Mao’s outburst.
- Serious Business: Manners are very important to King Snugglemagne and Boss Hostrich which results in a manners duel between the two of them.
- Too Dumb to Live: Benny and Penny decide that the middle of the road is a perfect place for a picnic. From Mao Mao's reaction, this is not the first time they've done this.
- Trap Door: King Snugglemagne has trap doors set up all over the town to quickly travel wherever he wants. It comes in handy later to find the Sky Pirates, and then to eject them back to the dump.
