Our heroes are out of time, out of options, out of places to hide. The holes in their history are starting to fill in; but are they going to like the answers they receive? We're almost caught up, now. Taako fights his fears. Merle loses faith. Magnus hears music.
Tropes
- Breath Weapon: Carey lets out a scorching blast of blue fire against the Hunger.
- Connected All Along: This is the major revelation that Taako and Merle get from drinking the baby voidfish's ichor. Turns out that the tres horny boys first met each other (along with the Director, Barry, and even Davenport) long before they thought they did. Taako even turns out to have a Long-Lost Relative in Lup.
- Full-Frontal Assault: Magnus fights a hoard of invisible Hunger monsters while in his newly-grown (naked) body.
- Special Edition Title: The opening theme song, "Déjà Vu" by Mort Garson, is replaced by "Reunion Tour", Griffin's original piece from The Adventure Zone's official soundtrack.
- Starts Stealthily, Ends Loudly: Merle and Taako try to play it cool sneaking into the Director's personal vault. It ends with the guards dragging them back to the Director, caught out.
