Mama Bear: When Finnelan insists on expelling Akko due to her poor skills and thinking she will only bring down Luna Nova’s reputation, Ursula defends Akko by chewing out the other professor, telling her how stupid it is to care about the school’s reputation rather than trying to nurture the students.
My God, What Have I Done?: Twice with Akko. She first gives Professor Pisces mineral water, which turns out to be bad for fishes. Second, when trying to help her teacher, Pisces falls into a drain, causing Akko to panic even more.
One of Akko’s classes is on avian languages. The professor brings in a raven and has it caw while the students translate it.
Professor Pisces is a fish in charge of magical philosophy. Her class is considerably more advanced because she speaks fish, which Akko doesn’t fully understand until later on when she and her friends go save her.
To Be Lawful or Good: Akko struggles to choose between saving a group of trapped fish and trying to look for Professor Pisces and take her test. She chooses the former, which turned out to be the best choice for a number of reasons.
