Go To

"Glitch" and "Woops" are the two segments of the sixty-third episode of Lilo & Stitch: The Series. Both segments first aired on June 23, 2006, just before "Snafu" and Leroy & Stitch. This is the second of the show's two Two Shorts episodes, the other being the preceding episode, "Mrs. Hasagawa's Cats / Ace".

"Glitch"

Experiments who appeared or were mentioned in this segment:

  • Glitch (X-223): This segment's Monster of the Week; a bright green experiment surrounded by yellow light with an hourglass-shaped head who is designed to invade technological devices and cause them malfunction, having them turn against their users.
  • Slugger (X-608): Bats away Glitch's pod when it's fired from a malfunctioning pitching machine.

"Glitch" features examples of:

  • An Aesop: Technology can make life easier, but don't let it control your life; you also have to do things for yourself.
  • Cyber Green: Glitch has glowing neon green skin and was stored in a green pod, and has the power to possess technology.

"Woops"

Experiments who appeared or were mentioned in this segment:

  • Felix (X-010)
  • Gotchu (X-031)
  • Fibber (X-032)
  • Hammerface (X-033)
  • Forehead (X-044)
  • Zawp (X-077)
  • Mulch (X-111)
  • Nosy (X-199): After being teleported back to Gantu's ship, Woops breaks Nosy's containment capsule, freeing him and allowing him to escape.
  • Retro (X-210)
  • Boomer (X-288)
  • Amnesio (X-303)
  • Blowhard (X-533)
  • Woops (X-600): This segment's Monster of the Week; a pale grayish purple, skinny Stitch-like experiment who has all of Stitch's powers, but is much too clumsy to use them, knocking over and breaking things by accident.
  • Reuben (X-625)

"Woops" features examples of:

  • An Aesop: Everyone has a special talent.
  • The Bus Came Back: Mr. Wong, Nani's employer in early season one, returns as a member of Pleakley's team, though he only says one line ("Oh, brudda!").
  • Chekhov's Gun:
    • One of Pleakley's sports teams is a bowling team. The whole point of bowling is to knock pins over, something that Woops is very good at, which is shown at the end when he bowls a perfect game.note
    • One that sets up the next episode; Woops nearly blowing Hämsterviel's cover, forcing him to teleport all the experiments he has back over to Gantu, then Woops accidentally breaking Nosy's capsule, causing him to escape. "Snafu" has Nosy going straight to Lilo and Stitch to tell them about all the experiments Gantu has, motivating the duo to rescue them.
  • Disaster Dominoes: Woops causes a major one, not only causing Pleakley's team's domino set to knock over before they break the record but also resulting in power lines knocking over and Sparky's lighthouse going over the edge.
  • The Klutz: Woops, of Person of Mass Destruction proportions.
  • Pokémon Speak: The only thing Experiment 600 ever says is "Woops!", which he does so after breaking something or knocking something over.
