- Back for the Finale: Long time Vampire Diaries characters Caroline and Klaus, who haven't been seen since the last season of The Originals return for the franchise's Grand Finale to offer some support for their daughters.
- Brought Down to Normal: Due to dying and coming back to live, Jed's curse has been reset, essentially making him a normal human again.
