A boxing coach is suspected of having relations with a sixteen year old girl by Tamin, who frustrates Benson by constantly stepping over the line during the investigation. The case takes a turn for the unusual when one of the coach's students/suspected victims assaults the coach and unveils years of broken family trust and damage in the process.

- Accidental Murder: Esperanza does this to Romeo by punching him out, then his own head injuries from being a boxer led to a brain bleed. Him landing head first on the steps didn't help either.
- The Boxing Episode: The episode is set around Kat's gym as well as her being in a boxing match in the opening.
- Enforced Method Acting: An in-universe one as Esperanza unleashes all her pent-up rage and anger, giving her "father" a "The Reason You Suck" Speech while also getting him to confess to raping his daughters on tape, while just about on the verge of breaking through the glass.
- First-Name Basis: Esperanza calls her biological father Santos this because he spent years raping her and her sister.
- Halfway Plot Switch: The episode switches from investigating Romeo and Cami to Esperanza and Santos.
- Mama Bear: Esperanza is this for the gym and punches out Romeo after he's accused of raping Cami.
