  • Bound and Gagged: Benson hears muffled screams in a hospital room. It's an orderly who had been mugged for his uniform. She tells Bell and Stabler that earlier, she thought she saw one of their detectives wheeling a patient.
  • Cliffhanger: Stabler calls for help on an empty hospital wing as the bedridden Angela's fate is up in the air.
  • Failed a Spot Check: Angela is under witness protection, so when she wants some items, she gets Washburn to order them on his phone and pick them up. He obliges and she collapses in the bathroom. They barely save her, and a diagnostic check from Jet reveals that Washburn used his regular phone instead of his encrypted one, meaning that his order was intercepted.
  • Internal Reveal: Dana and Richie learn that their father had killed their grandfather during arraignment.
  • The Mole: Morales has been working for Wheatley, who paid him two million dollars to finish the hit on Angela.
  • Save the Villain: Bell and Stabler follow the FBI vehicle containing Wheatley. The convoy gets ambushed, and just as a gunman was about to execute Wheatley, Stabler shoots him dead. Bell wraps a tourniquet around Wheatley's leg and they have to deliver him to the local U.S. Attorney.
  • Suicide by Cop: Bell is forced to shoot Morales after he points his gun at her, Stabler and Benson.
  • You Killed My Father: Or grandfather in this case; Richie gives up his dad to one of his former business associates while in jail.
