Duchess Ravenwaves and Hairball see a circling fireball in the sky that will get closer and closer to the land and make everything hot, eventually burning it. While they try to cash in on everyone's misery by building a dam to ration the water, Lady moves to protect her kingdom. Lady and the maidens find that Mirror Lake has dried up and the well has run dry, threatening the water supply. Lady orders the Pixietails to corral clouds to make it rain, but when they do, the fireball blows the clouds away.
The Pixietails start to head for the Frosted Mountains to gather melting snow, but find more water at the dam, and Maiden Fairhair realizes that once the snow from the mountains melts, the dam could break and flood Pixietail Park. The dam eventually breaks, but the Pixietails build a seawall using rocks to slow the flood. Shining Glory uses a spell to have the excess water cool the fireball, saving the kingdom.
