- A Day in the Limelight: For Totpat and Bookback, as their creation of Dora Tortoise causes most of the episode's events to happen.
- And I Must Scream: Dora Tortoise's freeze ray has this effect. Partially averted with Geki as he gets hit with it while piloting his Tyrannosaurus, able to move but unable to unite with the frozen Shoguzyu.
- Behemoth Battle: Shugozyu vs. Dora Tortoise
- Beware the Silly Ones: The Zyuangers nearly get defeated by a monster created by Totpat and Bookback.

- Not-So-Harmless Villain: Dora Tortoise is surprisingly effective at pummeling the Rangers. Doubly so for Totpat and Bookback, who manage to make such a strong monster in spite of their shortcomings.
