Tropes:

• Actor Allusion: One of the Billions is voiced by GZA, a rapper who incorporates scientific notes into his lyrics.
• Aerith and Bob: The leaders of the wolf pack are named Billions and Billions. However, they also have a wolf named Megan in their ranks.
• Butt-Monkey: The episode's opening shows Jamack being captured by the Mega Bunny, barely escaping, spraying himself in the eye with a spray bottle, being exiled from the Mod Frogs, wandering aimlessly through the city, and being pooped on by a Mega Pigeon. And his suffering is just getting started.
• Chekhov's Skill: While the pack training sequence is initially Played for Laughs, the training eventually pays off when the group successfully fight off the Newton Wolves.
• Conservation of Ninjutsu: Kipo, Wolf, and Benson are able to fight off an entire pack of wolves with mild struggle.
• *Cough* Snark *Cough*: Dave refers to Kipo as a nerd this way. He later does the same thing with the Newton Wolves.
• Eye Scream: When returning to Mod Frog territory, Jamack accidentally sprays some of the spot remover into his right eye. He promptly screams in pain.
• Early-Bird Cameo: Quite literally an early bird. A Mega Pigeon flying overhead poops on Jamack. A Mega Pigeon would later play a main role in the eighth episode.
• Gray Rain of Depression: During Jamack’s aimless wandering around Las Vistas after being kicked out of his faction, he is seen walking through a rainstorm. He’s even trying to use his suit to keep himself dry.
• Jerkass Realization: Kipo has a minor one when Jamack makes her realize that she may be endangering her friends by impulsively running off on her own.
  Kipo: Maybe *I* need to do some soul searching.^note Kipo previously said the same thing to Jamack when he first tried to capture her.
• Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: When the Newton wolves discover Jamack (their dessert) has escaped, Wolf instantly asks Kipo "What did you do?" just loud enough for all the wolves to hear, making them turn on Kipo's group.
• Partial Transformation: Kipo's eyes turn catlike when she's trying to help her friends fight the Newton Wolves in the dark.
• Stunned Silence: The Newton Wolves are speechless when they hear Dave say that the Earth is flat.
• Toilet Humor: As Jamack passes through Umlaut Snäke territory, a Mega Pigeon flies overhead. Cue Jamack being the victim of the mother of all Bird Poop Gags.
• Trust-Building Blunder: When Kipo is doing a a trust fall with Benson, he gets distracted by Dave eating an apple. He gets upset at Dave for not sharing it, which distracts his attention from Kipo and causes her to fall onto the ground.
• Wham Episode: Kipo manifests Mute-like night vision when it gets too dark for anyone to see the wolves.
