Dale starts a security company. Meanwhile, Cotton is made a deputy police officer, and Hank tries to solve the mystery of who keeps coming in his house while he's at work.

- Drunk with Power: Cotton's basically a glorified neighborhood watch, but it doesn't take long before he starts going full Cowboy Cop on Rainey Street. He snaps Luanne's driver license for not using a turn signal, uses Jack Bauer Interrogation Technique on Bill and Boomhauer, and threatens several people with a bullwhip.
- Gaslighting: Kahn inadvertently does this to Hank when he and his wife sneak into his house when he's not home and have sex on his furniture, causing Hank to question his sanity.
- Laser-Guided Karma: When Kahn's escapades are exposed by Cotton, he's forced to put up a privacy hedge, something Hank had been bugging him to do throughout the episode to no avail.
