Moon Bunny, Part 1

Krash, Chiko, and Dokko go to the forest to celebrate the New Year there. Krash is not very happy that Chiko made up such a bad excuse to go to the forest, but he replies that he did not know that Dokko would also want to go with them. While Dokko is decorating the Christmas trees, Krash and Chiko step aside and start setting traps to catch the moon bunny. According to Krash, he should definitely appear because it's New Year's Eve, the moon is full, and his intuition tells him to.

When Krash makes a new trap out of the Christmas tree, Dokko thinks that he has decided to decorate it and tries to put a star on it, falling into the trap. The falling star breaks, but Dokko does not lose heart and continues to decorate the rest of the trees. Chiko wants to join him, but Krash suspends him because you can't miss a chance that happens once every twelve years. Chiko doubts the existence of the moon bunny, but Krash continues to be confident in his idea, because if he really catches the moon bunny, he will fulfill his most cherished wish.

Dokko invites his friends to launch fireworks, and Krash is happy to launch them because he believes that the noise can scare the moon rabbit, and he will run to their traps. While the fireworks are exploding, Krash is tensely looking out for the moon bunny. Chiko asks Dokko not to pay attention to his friend's behavior, but Dokko has already realized that they decided to catch Santa Claus. Deciding to play along with them, Dokko disguises himself in a Santa Claus costume and begins to show tricks for his friends.

Moon Bunny, Part 2

Dokko notices a carrot on the ground and takes it despite the warnings of Krash and Chiko. Dokko falls into all of Krash’s traps until eventually he gets stuck in Barry's toilet. Krash decides to free him with a chainsaw, but Dokko refuses. Chiko decides to return home with Dokko and admits that he specifically told him that they would go to the forest because he wanted a holiday. He leaves, and Krash decides to stay and catch the moon bunny on his own.

When Chiko and Dokko were crossing the river on a suspension bridge, Dokko stumbled and fell on the ice. The ice has cracked, and the current carries the scientist away on an ice floe. Meanwhile, Krash notices a glow behind the hills and heads towards it. Chiko manages to rescue Dokko from the ice floe, but he himself is carried away by the current. Krash hears Dokko's screams and rushes to help his friend. He manages to grab Chiko by the paw, but he pulls both of them into the whirlpool. Being at the bottom of the river, Krash sees a moon bunny jumping off the moon.

Krash and Chiko wake up in bed. Dokko, who saved them with the help of a diving suit, gives them tea, and friends go out to drink it on the street. Chiko asks Krash if he had time to make a wish when he saw the moon bunny. Krash replies that he has not decided what his innermost desire is. The next time the moon rabbit will appear, it will be in twelve years. Then he will have completely different desires, and he will have to choose the main thing again. The most important thing is that he now knows that the moon bunny really exists. Krash and Chiko congratulate each other on the year of the rabbit.
