Wally runs up and jumps, but falls near the very start while his friends jump much further. In the evening, Wally is sad in the meadow when Dokko, who was catching butterflies, comes up to him. Wally asks if he jumps well. Dokko replies that it's not worth jumping for some nonsense, and if the goal is good, then why not jump? Wally says his goal is good, but his technique is bad, and he doesn't know how to train. Dokko decides to start training him.

Dokko and Wally start training. Dokko trains his friend to jump like a butterfly. from flower to flower. In the evening, he shows him the correct poses. At night, Dokko does not sleep and thinks over new poses. He has calculated the right angle for the jump and decides to test it in practice. Under Wally's guidance, he tries to jump at the right angle and finally succeeds. It starts raining heavily, and lightning strikes the scientist.

An exhausted Dokko sits at the table and pours himself tea. He tries to make a jump with his hooves, but finally loses his strength and faints. Waking up in bed, he sees Wally taking care of him. Dokko is unhappy that he does not train and asks him to show him the poses he has learned. Some time passes. Wally is playing blind man's buff with his friends when Dokko, weakened after an illness, approaches him. He offers to practice, but Wally tells him that he no longer jumps because he realized that this is not his occupation. Wally runs off to play with his friends, leaving a disappointed Dokko. Dokko takes off his scarf, runs up, and jumps over a large ravine. After landing, he sadly notes that his technique is good, but there is no goal.
