- Chocolate Baby: Toyed with; Wayne and Wanda do a family number with a little boy, Nicholas, who is clearly not their child, as evidenced by his red hair. Later, it's revealed that he really isn't their kid; they "borrowed" him for the act, and Nicholas' actual father, the Swedish Chef, is pissed at them for it.
- Frying Pan of Doom: The Swedish Chef hits Wayne in the head with a frying pan as revenge for him "borrowing" his son for an act without asking.
- Pink Means Feminine: Sierra's modern-day clothing includes a pink dress.
- Shout-Out: The Sisters perform "Shine Like the Sun" from 9 to 5: The Musical.
- Ship Tease: The "At the Dance" segment has Bunsen and Beaker dancing together.
- Stopped Dead in Their Tracks: Kermit and Scooter both stop dead when they realize how many performers will be needed for the closing number (twenty-three).
