Light and Darkness reunited, at last!

Tassel: Bonne lecture, my friends.
Can you believe it? Touma and Tetsuo just tried infiltrating the Southern Base to meet with Master Logos!
There, they encountered a mysterious young man and obtained a new power.
And a most terrifying power it was.
One that will obliterate anything that stands between it and its goal...
Touma has now seized one of the Southern Base's forbidden books, but its power leaves him a mindless rampager. Ryo Ogami is tasked by Reika to get it at all costs, by order from Master Logos. With that, the two swordsmen clash again. Meanwhile, Legeiel, who had been curb-stomped by Primitive Dragon's vicious attack, decides to exact revenge on Touma.

Episode Tropes

  • Big Damn Heroes: Right as a berserk Touma is about to attack Mei, he's blocked and subsequently repelled and forced out of his transformation by Yuri and Calibur, who appears and disappears through a dark portal.
  • The Bus Came Back: After nine episodes since the previous user died, Kamen Rider Calibur makes a return and helps Saikou. The question is who is under the suit this time.
  • Clingy Macguffin: Through the powers of Luna's Wonder World storybook, Primitive Dragon is able to teleport itself to Touma, even though he left it with Tetsuo, before shortly taking over the former to use his body once more.
  • The Corrupter: The Primitive Dragon Wonder Ride Book isn't just compatible with Brave Dragon, but also Lion Senki, which Touma uses to repel and defeat Legeiel.
  • Conflicting Loyalty: Rintaro suffers from this after Ogami and presumably Ren leave the organization.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: Whoever the third Calibur is, they've certainly helped establish themselves by saving Mei and knocking a berserk Touma out of his transformation.
  • Foreshadowing:
    • The same mysterious smoke that claimed the Sword of Darkness Kurayami before reappears right after Ryo declares he'll defect to Touma's side, confiscating the Ride Books both had dropped during their duel. The source of the smoke is shortly revealed to be Reika, wielding a mysterious Sacred Sword.
    • Tetsuo later on confirms there is indeed a Sacred Sword of the Smoke element, but he doesn't know of its current user.
  • Murder Is the Best Solution: Reika tells the Sword of Logos to kill Touma in order to retrieve the Primitive Dragon Wonder Ride Book, even though Master Logos said he does not care if Touma keeps the book.
  • Powered by a Forsaken Child: Primitive Dragon’s spirit is that of a lonely boy trapped in the abyss.
  • Wham Shot: Tassel makes his usual appearance at the start of the episode, packing his suitcase for a trip. At the end he is nowhere to be found.
