Touma has defeated Calibur and stopped the Megid, but not before learning a few terrifying things about the Sword of Logos having a traitor hiding in their ranks and Luna having some connection to Wonder World. Touma vows to reveal the truth with his friends, but the messenger, Reika Shindai, has managed to sow discord among his friends. All of a sudden, a hooded man armed with a sparkling sword intervenes.
- Batman Gambit: How Reika turns the Sword of Logos swordsmen against Touma: she plays on Rintaro's duty-bound self, telling him Sophia was abducted, while she tells Ogami and Daishinji about Touma being a traitor in the vein of Fukamiya and Kamijou. Either way, with Touma refusing to report to Southern Base, Rider turns against fellow Rider.
- The Cameo: Hideyoshi Iwata (suit actor for many recent Ultraman characters) and wife Mayu Hasegawa (Moa from Ultraman Geed) appear as
husband and wife. - Et Tu, Brute?: How Mei reacts to the Sword of Logos attacking Touma after they request he relinquish his Wonder Ride Book and the Rekka.
- Poor Communication Kills: Reika's gambit of sowing discord between Touma and the Sword of Logos wouldn't have worked had they come to talk to each other regarding this, as opposed to the swordsmen confronting the novelist.
- Thousand-Yard Stare: Touma's shocked and weary expression after the fight.
- Unseen No More: Although he appeared in person to greet Touma when the latter reached Avalon, this episode reveals Yuri's face to not only the audience, but to the Sword of Logos.
