Hiromi was saved by Ikki and Vice, just as he was on the verge of being killed by the Demons Driver! Realizing that his loyalty to Fenix is shaking in the midst of his various emotions, he confesses the dark truth behind the Demons Driver and resigns from his position. Meanwhile, Olteca, who was separated from his demon and captured by Fenix, remains silent. His expression is still and unwavering, and while he is currently at their mercy, his eyes say otherwise...

Meanwhile, Sakura is invited to the Ushijima family's home by their son, Hikaru. While initially hesitant about it, given their current situation, she ultimately decides to go with them. But what exactly awaits her when she gets there...?

Tropes

  • The Bad Guy Wins: Olteca and Director Akaishi are revealed to be in cahoots, but it means nothing as Hiromi is likely dead by Olteca's hands after he took the Demons Driver, and with all three Igarashi siblings and Vice being on the receiving end of a Curb-Stomp Battle.
  • Break the Badass: Complete with Chigusa's death in the previous episode, things get too much for Hiromi to bear anymore and he resigns from Fenix.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Olteca as Demons runs roughshod over all the other Riders, knocking Live out of his transformation and beating Revi, Vice and Jeanne at once (with the former two in their upgrade forms to boot).
    • Sakura's fight against Aguilera is this as well, as the latter doesn't even get a chance to attack.
  • Discard and Draw: Olteca loses his Daiouika Deadman transformation in the previous episode, only to gain the Demons Driver in this episode.
  • Disney Death: Hiromi is last seen falling off a cliff after being blasted away by Olteca. Unlike all characters who died in Revice before this episode, his death is not actually shown and thus remains uncertain.
  • Trojan Prisoner: Olteca's plan was to be captured by Fenix all along, allowing him to give the Giff Stamp to Akaishi while gaining the Demons Driver in the process.
  • Two Lines, No Waiting: While Ikki and Daiji confront George about the Demons Driver and learn from Akaishi about Fenix's goals in making use of Giff, Sakura confronts the Ushijimas and learns of their secret organisation Weekend and their stance against Fenix experimenting on Giff. Both sides came to the same conclusion that Fenix cannot be trusted.
  • Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Hiromi resigning and leaving the Demons Driver onboard the Fenix Skybase while Olteca was imprisoned there allowed it to be free for the latter's taking when Akaishi let him out. Although, it may be subverted as George was in the office when Hiromi left the Driver, raising another question of whether he willingly let Olteca take it.
  • Villain Forgot to Level Grind: Jeanne's fight against Aguilera is even more lopsided in the former's favor compared to #18, with Sakura implying their difference is in her unwavering resolve.
  • Wham Episode: Several things get revealed, ranging from Fenix Director Hideo Akaishi being in league with Olteca (as well as being the founder of Deadmans), Olteca taking the Demons Driver, the Ushijima family being revealed to be a new faction called Weekend (who were the ones that gave Sakura the Libera Driver in the first place), Genta is implied to have a connection to Giff, and Hiromi is implied to be killed by Olteca.
  • Wham Line: Olteca's line to Akaishi confirms that the latter and the Deadmans Founder are one and the same.
    "It has been a while."
  • Wham Shot:
    • Olteca showing Hideo the Giff stamp reveals two things at once: that he had the real Stamp the whole time and that he and Fenix are working together.
    • Genta clutching his chest in pain and gaining visions of the Giff statue, while at the same time it gathers energy that Akaishi can seemingly touch in his gloved hands.
