Summary
A Gifftarian is the incarnation of a demon created through the sacrifice of a human life! Ikki rages against Olteca at the notion he is willing to create more demons that are inseparable from their human hosts via the Giff Stamp!
However, Ikki's resolve has now become clearer as he rushes to eliminate this Phase 3 danger through the powers of Volcano and Barid Rex! However, his newfound power becomes a double-edged sword as Ikki is consumed by the infernal fires of his transformation as he rages! Meanwhile, Olteca sets his target on Julio in a retaliatory attempt against him...!
Tropes
- Big Damn Heroes: Aguilera comes to save the now vulnerable Julio from Olteca in quite the spectacular way.
- De-power: With Revice able to separate Julio from his Wolf Deadman Riot form, Julio/Tamaki now appears to be a regular human being.
- Despair Event Horizon: Yosuke's death at Olteca's hands sends Go/Julio over it, though his grief is swiftly replaced by Unstoppable Rage.
- Do Not Call Me "Paul": Julio/Tamaki screams at Olteca not to call him his Deadman name while transforming into Wolf Deadman Riot.
- Go Out with a Smile: Yosuke, although terrified, gives Julio a shaky, sad smile, telling him to cheer up for a final time before being consumed by a Gifftarian.
- Heel–Face Door-Slam: Played With. Just as Julio is about to reconcile with Yosuke, Olteca appears and turns Yosuke into a Gifftarian, causing Julio to give into his despair and assume a Riot Form. Once he's purified however he seems to be on his way to reforming.
- Heroic RRoD: Ikki's emotional turmoil makes him catch on fire while in Volcano Rex form at the start of the episode, leading to injuries so severe he has to be hospitalized.
- Hiromi's visit to the doctor reveals that his repeated use of the Demons Driver has made him biologically equivalent to an 80 year old, with said doctor forbidding him from transforming again.
- Hope Spot: Julio/Tamaki and Yosuke finally meet up, and almost reconcile... before Olteca ambushes the latter and turns him into a Gifftarian.
- Idiot Ball: Yes, Sakura, leave Julio — a rogue Deadman executive — with his estranged friend all alone, even after knowing that Olteca is after him and knows about said estranged friend, which puts the latter straight in his crosshairs. What Could Possibly Go Wrong?
- Inelegant Blubbering: Julio/Tamaki breaks down completely after the full weight of the events hits him again after Ikki and Vice stopped his rampage and Aguilera unknowingly reminds him of Yosuke while trying to cheer him up.
- Man on Fire: The backlash from Volcano Vistamp sets Ikki on fire, burning most of his body, so that when he wakes up in hospital, he is entirely wrapped up in bandages from the neck down.
- Meaningful Look: Sakura exchanges one with Aguilera near the episode's end, possibly one of mutual respect.
- Oh, Crap!: Olteca's expression of fear and horror when he realizes that Julio/Tamaki just one shotted a Gifftarian and is going after him next is utterly priceless.
- Roaring Rampage of Revenge: Julio in his Riot form levels a city block and causes massive destruction as a result of Olteca turning Yosuke into a Gifftarian.

- Olteca is the target of this from Ikki and Julio; the first when he rubs Ikki's futile effort to save everyone in his face, and the second when he kills Yosuke in front of him."OLTECAAAAAA—!!!"
- When Ikki suffers the backlash from Volcano Rex Genome, knocking him out of his transformation and leaving him with horrifying burns.Vice: IKKIIIIII—!!!
