Kouta follows the passage to Yggdrasill Tower and to his surprise discovers an underground dungeon. Redyue informs Kouta that he has become one of the Over Lords, rather than a human, and proceeds to show him his apparent destiny.
- Call-Back: This episode has one back to episode 5 where a quiz promotion was held, asking viewers whether Gaim's catchphrase was "I'll turn you into fruit juice!" or "This is my stage now!", the latter of which was correct. The other answer appears as Yuuya's catchphrase in Kouta's hallucination.
- What You Are in the Dark: Redyue traps Kouta inside a dream where it is he who became the Byakko Inves and Yuuya became Gaim to try and tempt Kouta into abandoning his quest for salvation and to join the Overlords. Despite being mentally worn down as the dream continues, Kouta (and Mai, who also realized Kouta's answer) claims that losing his humanity won't stop him from doing what he wants to do, and frees himself back into the real world.
