- Gentaro uses the Rocket Drill Kick, then the drill penetrates the ground and he spins around a few times just like his first kick.
- Kengo first met Gentaro when he threw a love letter off the bridge, and Gentaro promptly chews Kengo out saying he should've read it and consider the writer's feelings. When Gentaro is about to throw Kengo's final letter off the bridge, Kengo stops him and says what Gentaro said before.
- Dead Man Writing: Kengo made one final letter to the Club in case anything happened to him due to him being the Core Child.
- Defeat Equals Friendship: Gentaro offers his hand of friendship to Gamou after his defeat, which he accepts.
