While Darius and Sammy lead the poachers towards Mainstreet and into a T. Rex trap, the others race to get there ahead of them by using the park’s tunnel system, however they soon discover a control room with surveillance and try to restore power to the park.
- Convenient Cranny: Darius and Sammy slip into a notch in one of the Main Street buildings to evade Rexy’s jaws. Mitch survives in a similar situation, and takes the time to hit Rexy’s snout with a cattle prod several times.
- Hand Signals: Darius and Sammy find a security camera and a PA system where the other campers can see them but not hear them, while Darius and Sammy can hear the others but not see them. Cue an impromptu game of Charades as Darius and Sammy try to tell the others that Tiff and Mitch have found the watering hole.
- Hologram: The campers trigger a hologram of a Tyrannosaurus to distract the real Rexy, then leave it on repeat for Rexy to challenge.
- Home Field Advantage: Why Darius and Sammy led Tiff and Mitch to Main Street, instead of the watering hole: they combed every inch of Main Street after the park went down looking for the emergency beacon, and have better odds of slipping away there.
- Just in Time: After Rexy has chased the trophy hunters into the jungle and has Darius and Sammy trapped, the others manage to restore power to the park, turning on all the lights and a hologram on Main Street and creating a giant light show that distracts the T. rex.
- Monster in the Ice: As Kenji turns the power back on, he notices a green button is flickering. He taps it a few times to try and get it to stop. The camera then follows the wires to reveal a shape frozen and suspended in a cryonics tube somewhere else underground… and then the power to the room goes out.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: While Kenji gets the lights turned on, this also means Sammy and Darius have a much harder time sneaking away from Mitch and Tiffany. Also, with the power back on, the systems processing the dinosaurs’ trackers also come back online, meaning Tiff and Mitch can now just use a tablet to find the watering hole.
- Rousing Speech: Kenji tries a sarcastic one on Bumpy when the Ankylosaurus has a hard time smashing through a steel gate. Bumpy gives him a shove in response.
- Slasher Smile: Tiff displays a truly disturbing one at one point when contemplating killing the campers with a cattle prod.
- Slow Electricity: When Kenji turns the power back on, the park’s lights and power systems flash back on one by one in this style.
- Starts Stealthily, Ends Loudly: When Darius and Sammy steal Tiff and Mitch’s guns, they initially try sneaking away in the darkness. However, the lights coming back on – and later, Rexy’s arrival – put the kibosh on that.
