Jorel's brother returns home with a black eye and Grandma Gigi decides to teach him some martial arts lessons, so he can defend himself from the school bully, Samantha, and leave without any brutal injuries.
This episode's plot was later adapted to the 26th Season 1 episode, "Litle Gi-Gitsu Master", albeit with several modifications.
This episode provides examples of:
- Early Installment Character-Design Difference: Due to being the pilot episode, several characters still have their beta designs;
- Rose, the housemaid, is a black human woman rather than a purple, one-eyed octopus.
- Tosh looks much more skinny and tired, and has red eyes.
- Carlos Felino has a much sturdier body shape, has a beard, a more caricate unpolished design, wears no shirt whatsoever, and has green skin similar to Granny Juju and Samantha.
- Early-Bird Cameo: One of the background students seen watching Jorel's brother arrive to school later had his character design reutilized for Catiane's brother, a teenage boy that appears in Season One's "Gincana Mortal" and then becomes a recurring character in subsequent seasons.
