Building off of their fashion fame from In Stitches, the Holograms are invited to participate in a rock-themed fashion book. The Misfits grow jealous and try to create their own fashion book, but when that fails, they try to sabotage the Holograms' project instead.
This episode contains examples of:
- Bat Scare: Invoked by the Misfits when the Holograms are having a fashion shoot on a ledge of the Grand Canyon. Meanwhile, the Misfits are planning to climb through a tunnel and onto the ledge to disrupt the photo session. In the tunnel, they see some bats hanging from the ceiling and throw rocks at them, provoking them into flying up to the ledge where the Holograms are standing. Jem has Synergy blast the bats with reverberating sound to make them fly away.
- Green-Eyed Monster: The Misfits grow jealous of the Holograms' fashion book and try to outdo them with their own book. When that fails, they buy out the company doing the Holograms' book and put the Holograms into ridiculous and demeaning pictorials, including scrubbing floors and posing with mops.
- Hoist by Their Own Petard: Among the pictures on the camera roll of the Holograms' album are photos of the Misfits in the cave where the bats were released, evidence that they were there to sabotage both the shoot and the company. Needless to say, once Mr. Gabor learns of this, he is not pleased.
- I Have No Son!: Pizzazz's father gets fed up with her and all but disowns her.
- It's All About Me: When Stormer asks Pizzazz when she's going to share the photographing duties with the other Misfits, Pizzazz barks at her, "I don't! You got a problem with that?"
