In this continuing episode of JAG all out efforts are made to rescue Harm with Skates helping. But in the process, Mic and Mac’s relationship irreparably breaks down.

- Central Theme: Being set adrift. For the majority of the episode, it is Harm who is literally adrift in a stormy ocean. However by the end, it is Mac who is set adrift as Mic abandons her, while Harm leaves with Renee to convalesce.
- Deus ex Machina: Mac’s ESP, which has been seen only once before, is now used to determine Harm’s exact GPS coordinates!
- Easy Amnesia: Harm suffers short term amnesia but speedily recovers.
- Please Wake Up: Skates cries, pleads and begs for an unconscious barely breathing Harm to regain consciousness. In this instance, it works.
- Race for Your Love: Not shown, but Mac does make it to the airport to catch a short glimpse of Mic boarding a Quantas flight to Australia and leaving for good.
- Runaway Fiancé: Mic realizes that Mac cares more for Harm than for him. Upon which he informs Mac that he is calling off the wedding, packs his things and eventually takes a flight back home to Australia.
