Savage Succubi Will Squeeze the Life Out of You, Even If You Say You Can't Go On!

Manga Placement: Volume 1, Chapter 9

Summary

The Cold Open leads with Stunk, Zel, and Brooz flat and unresponsive on the ground. Crim begs them to cling to life. Afterwards, Meidri and their regular readers mourn them, right before the Lemony Narrator cuts in with the confirmation of their survival.

So what happened? Previously, before they ended up in the gutter with the pouring rain, the Reviewers were headed out to find a new establishment to review. They are drawn to an alley with a suspiciously cheap succu-girl pit, where they discover a Lilim joint, which Crim is too scared to even attempt. Upon being taunted for their hesitation by one of these insatiable low-quality succubi, Stunk gets serious, ordering Zel to buff the guys up for this challenge. The Lilim prove to be too much, leaving Crim worrying for their lives from the other side of the window, before a raid party of a hundred Orc men show up for an endurance 'battle' rematch with the Lilim. The literal semen demons squeal in delight, promptly lose interest in Stunk, Zel, and Brooz, and toss the three Reviewers out a side door.

Everyone rates them a 0, except for Stunk, who only gave them a 1 because they were able to make it fun for the first half hour. They then take a three-week break to recover from a near-fatal overdose of snu-snu.

Tropes specific to the segment

  • Bait-and-Switch: This segment seemingly opens with Stunk, Zel, and Brooz dead, with everyone mourning them for their glorious end, and then the Lemony Narrator immediately refutes it with a sudden change of tone.
  • Our Heroes Are Dead: Happens at the beginning rather than the end of the episode, and is quickly subverted.
  • Out with a Bang: Very narrowly averted. Lilim don't stop until they are satisfied, and there is a large group of them. The gang spends 3 weeks in recovery after being ravished by a pack of Lilim. If a hundred-strong raid party hadn't shown up when they did, they'd have been screwed in the worst way.
  • Quantity vs. Quality: The reason why the reviewers almost died. They were completely outnumbered over the Lilim horde. The raid party following them are at least implied to stand a chance because of their numbers.
  • Pastel-Chalked Freeze Frame: Happens when the Reviewers head into the Lilim den.
  • Schmuck Bait: Customers are required to sign a liability waiver before venturing in the Lilim pack. If that, and the low price tag up front, isn't enough to tell you something is off, then nothing will. There is a good reason.
  • Shout-Out: The guys who read the reviews at the end of most episodes muse about a knight who charged a windmill.
  • Status Buff: Stunk has Zel cast a buffing spell on the whole party before entering, though it doesn't last.
  • Too Desperate to Be Picky: Lilim are too horny to be picky and they end up paying more than the customers. Even a group of ugly, sweaty orcs will only turn them on.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Anyone who is unprepared for any reason is destined to die in the Lilim brothel. They won't stop until they're satisfied, even if you die. At least those with Quantity vs. Quality as well as stamina have a higher chance of survival. Otherwise, it may not be worth it.

Salamander Girls Have Such Hot Bods, Hearts, Sals, and Manders, that You Can't Help But Get Fired Up About 'Em!

Manga Placement: Volume 1, Chapter 8

Summary

Crim is woken up by Ivy, the landlady and proprietress of Ye Pubbe, as she needs him to help run an errand to fetch Fire Manastones from the volcanic regions, as she needs refills for the stove. She advises him to get "Those two perverts" to escort him.

Stunk and Zel basically walk through the swarm of rock monster mooks, impressing Crim with their combat prowess. Once they reach the volcanic region, they decide to get some grilled meat, fresh off the sexy salamander fire spirit woman Tiaplate, who is perfectly happy to let them get a little naughty with their cooking methods. It ends up making her hot and bothered, eager for 'after-lunch service', but neither the human nor the elf can withstand her meat-cooking body heat. However, Crim turns out to be both fireproof and turned on by the ribald lunch, and he ends up reviewing Tiaplate, rating her a high 9. In the aftermath of all that, Ivy reads his review and muses that Crim has practically become just like the two perverts.

Tropes specific to the segment

  • Body Sushi: A variation of nyotaimori plays out here with the salamander girls, who have a service where they let men cook meat on their bodies. Naturally, the boys try using her throat (and other places) to cook some (actual) sausages. Tiaplate even allows people to get handsy with her (it costs extra), although it's a dangerous thing because her body temperature will cook the unwary. Zel and Crim actually appreciate the cooking method because her mana seeps into the meat they cook on her, enhancing the taste and flavour.
  • Convection, Schmonvection: Averted. Stunk and Zel are very uncomfortable with the serious heat coming off a salamander girl, taking off their armor with visible sweat pouring down, eventually becoming unable to bear it. Crim is not affected because of his natural resistance to heat.
  • Relax-o-Vision: Zel tries cooking a sausage there. Upon insertion, it switches to Meidri in the bathtub because it's (quite literally) Too Hot for TV.
