iWon't Cancel The Show is the 15th episode in the third season of iCarly.
When Sam ends up in jail on the night of an iCarly webcast that is to be witnessed by Carly's dad, she has Spencer fill in for her, but he has a romantic date on the same night.
Tropes:
- Bilingual Bonus: Freddie tells Carly that the Mexican ambassador who got chili shoved down his pants by Sam reacted by saying, "Los frijoles calientes queman mis pantalones!" This is Spanish for "These hot peppers are burning my pants!"
- Comically Missing the Point: When Carly explains that they are not canceling the show because her dad is supposed to watching it live for the first time, Gibby replies that he thought that Spencer was her dad.
- Crocodile Tears: When Spencer protests that he won't do the show while his date with Candice is going on, Carly pretends to cry heavily. Spencer eventually agrees to do it, to which Carly immediately stops her fake meltdown and is overjoyed. He realizes that he had been duped.
- Failed a Spot Check: When coming down after a skit involving an idiot farm girl and a cowboy with a mustache (in which he played the cowboy), Spencer changes back into his "sophisticated" clothing for his date with Candice. But he forgot to take off the fake mustache, which leads to Candice questioning it when he comes back down. He replies that it was to help his sister with her biology project.
- Jerkass Has a Point: Candice may have been a bit prissy and harsh in calling the iCarlys freaks upon founding out what they do, but one can hardly blame her. She had been waiting a half hour for Spencer to come back, making her very frustrated.
- Locked Out of the Loop: Spencer does not want his date, Candice, to know that he is helping out with an eccentric webshow because she would think it makes him seem unsophisticated. So he goes back and forth between enjoying his date with Candice to working on the webshow. It gets to the point that Candice has had enough and goes upstairs to see what is going on, and she is indeed weirded out by what she sees.
- Motor Mouth: When going over the plan for the show with Spencer, Carly explains in a very hyper and rushed voice.
- Off with Her Head!: Gibby says this when Candace enters the studio.Gibby: (when still in character) Who is this woman?! Off with her head!
- Oh, Crap!: The iCarlys have this reaction when Candice walks into the studio, while the show is filming live, furious at Spencer for making her wait too long.
- Overly Long Gag: "Baby Lumply needs some more creamed fish!"
- Two-Timer Date: Most of the episode involves Spencer having to switch between being on iCarly and going on his date with Candace.
