iRue the Day is the 11th episode in the 1st season of iCarly.
Spencer books the Plain White T's to perform on iCarly, but things go haywire in the middle of the show. Turns out Nevel is sabotaging the webcasts so Carly, Sam and Freddie hatch a plot to hack Nevelocity as payback.
Tropes:
- Artistic License – Education: Sam got a D because she only answered half of the questions. Even if she got all of those answered questions correct, a half a score would be 50, which would result in an F, and a D would be at least a 60.
- Artistic License – Law: The top soldier who leads the operation in raiding Nevel's house states that Nevel directly violated the Internet Security Act of 1983. However, this act was not passed until 2000.
- Big Damn Hero: When a falling piece of furniture almost hits a member of the Plain White T's, Spencer spots it and pushes the man out of the way before it could hit him.
- Call-Back: Nevel menacingly asks the iCarly crew if they feel the rue, similar to how he did it in "iNevel" when their plot to get him to admit that he wrote a false review failed. He even screams it in their faces, just like last time.
- Failed Attempt at Drama: Nevel initially tries to portray himself as a dark, ominous threat on a monitor but it's ruined when his mother calls him down to kiss her goodbye.
- Oh, Crap!: Nevel immediately stops mocking iCarly on the air when he notices military soldiers raiding his home.
- Out-Gambitted: Turns out Nevel knew the iCarlys were planning on hacking his website, so he thought one step ahead of them and made Freddie's laptop crash instead.
- Scatterbrained Senior: Nevel's grandmother. According to him, she is hopelessly confused, which means that the iCarly trio cannot convince her that Nevel is up to no good. And when she comes home and sees a suspended Freddie, she immediately thinks that he is a spider and uses an umbrella to beat him. Taken even further when Carly and Freddie actually convince her that they are her personal trainers, which she is at first confused by because she never had any, but is quickly fooled into doing squat thrusts.
- Special Guest: The Plain White T's.
- Suddenly Shouting: When threatening the iCarly team, Nevel sinisterly asks if they feel the rue. He then screams "You feel it?!"
