Carly's first-ever girl's trip doesn't go as planned when the only other person on the getaway is Freddie. Harper's missing cousin resurfaces, and is instantly smitten with Spencer.
Tropes:
- Brainless Beauty: Brooke. She thinks her car was stolen, only to find out that she had simply forgotten where she parked it.
- Callback: In "iGot Your Back", Harper calls Carly her best friend until her cousin resurfaces. In this episode, Harper's cousin Maeve resurfaces.
- Cerebus Call-Back: Harper's cousin mysteriously went missing? Fairly amusing. Maeve finally returns only to reveal that she'd been held captive by pirates this entire time? Horrible. Though the following episode reveals that Maeve was lying about being kidnapped and was actually hiding from debt collectors and paparazzi, which is still rather unpleasant.
- Love at First Sight: Spencer and Maeve fall for each other immediately. Likewise with Freddie and Brooke. While Freddie and Brooke ultimately didn't work out, Maeve and Spencer are still together, with Spencer even inviting Maeve to stay with him until she can get her own place.
- Mistaken for Romance: Carly's friend Brooke walks in on Freddie and Carly in bed together making suggestive noises with sensual music playing. They'd been mistakenly place in a couples' suite, didn't know how to turn the music off and Freddie and Carly were merely enjoying the comfortable bed together before Freddie slept on the couch.
- Noodle Incident: The incident with Carly & Freddie is apparently not the first time Brooke mistakenly assumed she was about to have a threesome, the other times reportedly having happened at a funeral and the DMV.
- One of the Girls: Freddie is elated to go on Carly's girls' trip, having been on several before and says that he enjoys them much more than guys' trips.
- Third Wheel: Carly and Harper both become this to Freddie & Brooke and Spencer & Maeve respectively.
- A Threesome Is Hot: When Brooke says she wants to have a threesome with Carly and Freddie. Carly is disgusted, but Freddie is up for it until Carly Dope Slaps him.
